When you’ve been a world class player, with all those trophies, medals and honours, you can be.
-
You can watch other players in this division and they don’t receive the ball literally facing the goal …. Continually.
-
Vardy, first offside
-
The reason Choudhury is largely horrendous, look at his body position when he’s in the midfield space to receive the ball. He’s facing his own goal, compare that to Maddison when he was with us. Already scanning, on the half turn. Any half decent football knows you need to what’s around you. The bloke has no idea.

I’d say in a few hours time, you might be busy combing polls and topics calling for his head. Clear your schedule for this afternoon

Coady is the leader this team has been missing.

Pearson, Albrighton and Brunt in the Sky Studio.

Let’s hope Vardy isn’t as horse poop as he was against Bristol.

Who else plays is Ricardo is out?

Foxes Trust Statement on Proposed Changes to FA Cup
Sly replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Two sided coin this and the other seems to be neglected when it’s being discussed. What they haven’t considered here, is that it could work in a smaller clubs favour for the match itself. The higher league team fields a weaker team, gets a man sent off, loses people through injury etc, especially if the weaker team is at home. The lower league team have a better advantage, than getting a replay and having to potentially face a stronger team, away from home. Sporting wise this is potentially better. Financially it potentially isn’t, however I think if they are doing this, then all clubs should go into the pot for round one. -
Newspapers and journalists as we knew them 20 - 30 years ago are finished. Unfortunately we have a load of people fishing for votes!
-
At this rate, I’ll end up voting for whose polices I least dislike. I need to move to a desert island and setup on my own I think.

Hello! Not for me this one, however I know “Gambling” is a hot topic within sport at the moment. I know Foxestalk has a topic in the sports thread. I just wondered if people had the option to hide this? So they don’t see it etc!
-
Great news, as he’ll be playing in some under 18 game, and we’ve got no chance of seeing him on Saturday.
-
I know this isn’t Leicester based but it’s an interesting listen. However they discuss tactics around the 30 minutes mark and how teams have tried to adapt the “Pep” style. A lot of it rings true.
-
Remember that supporter than said, “Leicester, who are they”? Ha Ha Ha ….. it definitely put a bit more bite between our games. Hazard scoring that wonderful goal in the battle of the bridge was beautiful though.

They’ve come on leaps and bounds this season. It’s a clear direction of commercial growth for the club, as it attracts a new demographic to come and watch the team. My daughter has little interest in the men’s team, however we’ve seen a few of the women’s games this season. It’s a different game physically but I’d say the standard will close up technically during the next 20 - 25 years, maybe even sooner. The team should be proud of what they’ve done this season, as whilst yesterday will hurt, on reflection this was unthinkable 5 years ago.

Look at it this way in a few similar scenarios. A) You’ve been asked to play a game of 6 a side, before your game. B) You’re leaving a job next month. Do you give 100% in that, or do you conserve yourself and coast? Some people will, some people won’t. Everyone is different. This is basically the same as players running down their contracts.

I think the actual difference is quality is minimal. This is why any team is capable of beating any team. A good Championship player will be closer to Messi in terms of quality, than an average non professional will be to playing League 2 football. What sets “player A” apart from “player B”, is consistency. In pressure situations people make decisions that they wouldn’t normally do. This is what we are seeing now. We are almost looking to walk the ball into the net and playing without creative freedom and letting the players express themselves. We are so rigid, that we’ve reverted to playing safe and recycling the ball until we generate an opportunity that is clear cut. It’s great when you have players like KDB that can find that pass 7/10 times. I’m not sure that our forwards even see the space, or our midfield attempts those passes. Hence we just pass the ball around for 70 minutes and they concede on the counter. Justin alluded to this a little bit earlier in the season after he’d scored from long range. The gaffa would ask him not to shot again. Enzo plays pragmatic football, that manages the odds in games to a degree, this is okay if you’re converting chances.
-
You’ve only got to look at the player ratings thread and see how the Manager stay / leave % stays after a win / defeat. I think one swung for Enzo by 30% after one win after a series of defeats.

Unfortunately we will always have conflict, it’s the pure amount at the moment that is eye watering. War doesn’t have good people, or bad people. It was simply put, until widespread media, written by the victor. The propaganda train on both sides to portray the others in a poor light has always been there. It’s just how it’s broadcast to the masses via satellite television and social media. Everyone has an opinion, however a lot of these conflicts have been rumbling on for decades. I remember starting a topic on here that was subsequently closed/ deleted entitled war just prior to the Ukraine conflict. At the time I wondered if we were heading to widespread war and what the outlook would look like on the other side. If you look now, it is definitely reaching a boiling point isn’t it?

Would you say better than Ricky though?
-
Basically. They are seen as a cash cow I guess. Which is crazy when you think of the number of high profile clubs in the Championship now. Other than Davis Or Morsy, I was struggling to put Ipswich players into mine.
