Agree, if one of the world’s biggest clubs had offered £50m pre injury, you wouldn’t have been surprised. He was our best player then.
-
I know we’ve got a few games left yet, however I wondered what people’s thoughts were on the Championship team of the season? 4-4-2 mine is: GK : Hermansen - Leicester RB : Ricardo - Leicester CB : Vestergaard - Leicester CB : Rodon - Leeds LB : Davis - Ipswich CM : Sara - Norwich CM : Dewsbury-Hall - Leicester AM : Rutter - Leeds RW : Whittaker - Plymouth CF : Armstrong - Southampton LW : Summerville - Leeds When you look at it, it’s not as simple as you’d think.
-
100% agree.

Hamza is not a bad midfielder at all. Positionally it’s more difficult to play full back, as you are so isolated if you’re not use to adjusting to having no cover. Fatawu helps him out a lot.
-
Hamza is an average Championship midfielder. He’s not a fullback. He’s most likely at his peak. Ricardo at his peak, was potentially the best right back in the Premier League before injury and then James / TTA pushed on a level.

I watched it back with the youngest who’s mad on it this morning.

WrestleMania tonight.

I’ve changed it so it’s all white! Hopefully no one notices.
-
I’m never going to live this down am I!
-
I should have made it all white! I shouldn’t have started this topic.
-
Let’s just delete this topic and pretend that I never started it!

The colour scheme was from when I last used this. Red was top 4. Green was nearer relegation. Orange was playoffs.

Too - Should be top ….. bloody auto correct.

Exceptional news! It’s going to be a few more weeks before we can add the rest though now. -
Have you watched Bournemouth, Luton, Forest, Sheffield United, Burnley, Everton or Palace? They’ve put out some absolute horrendous displays of football this season.
-
Thank fudge!
-
At the moment, this looks like a terrible result, however we’re closer than when we started.
-
Daka to grab 5 goals today I think
-
It’s about time for Ipswich to score isn’t it?
-
Didn’t the happy clapping crowd turn on the people shouting King Power out?
-
So when King Power bans all trust members from attending games as it wants to put them back in the box for questioning their authority, what happens then? Football is a massive global business that generates billions. The reality is, if you don’t like it at the top level, you might be better watching sport lower down the pyramid. Our entire system is now built on sand and the only way it’s sustainable is to continue to throw money at it. This is why the Premier League are caving on points deductions. They need to allow the money to get thrown around and to a degree. To attract billionaires, they need to allow them to run things as they wish. You can already see where it’s going. We will see no salary cap, no points deductions, a model with 6 teams and the rest making up the numbers. The rest making up the numbers are already amongst the highest paying clubs in world football, so if they fall it’s going to bloody hurt. From here on out, the gap is that big, any team that has done multiple years in the Premier League getting relegated, will be in the same situation as us.

If McKenna finishes 3rd then loses in the playoffs, it’s still McKenna. He’s done an excellent job. People say Ipswich are lucky, however you write your own luck and if we have 90% of their mentality, we’d have walked this league with our extra quality. He’s done an exceptional job with that squad and fully deserves to get this award. I really hope Ipswich and ourselves are the two automatics. McKenna deserves to (I’m also intrigued to see) how he’d get on in the Premier League with his style of play.

You need the club to engage. I’m not conceived it wants to. This is a club that booted out the local BBC news as it didn’t dance to its tune. How have they treated UFS? A club that is owned by a company that has some slightly sketchy history. They’ve done some great things, however let’s be honest, it’s to their terms. We joke about the free beer and a donut, however how many (outside our Foxestalk circle) deem them to be great owners because of this? Talk to your average fan and they love them. Can you imagine the outrage in stands if the 1,000 members start launching tennis balls onto the pitch You’d all get a ban and they’d re-sell your tickets to the people on the waiting list.
