Leave it out Stan, over 110k people marched and only 9 arrests, I swear people, media & politicians are disappointed that London’s not burning today. The scene was set by said people with the headlines Tommy Robinson’s Far Right March will take x route & Stand up to Racism will take y route, yes there will be a minority of idiots within that 110k but the vast majority are families fed up with the way the countries being run, nothing to do with racism….but the scenes been set.

Not sure I understand the plan now Marti, why is Ayew still on 🤔
-
What is the go-commentator on about with red. challenge he says it’s high and both feet off the floor he’s watching a different challenge surely 🤷♂️ Ramsey’s right foot stays on the floor and the left is about 2 Inchs off the deck Oxford players surrounding the ref has caused him to bottle it simple as
-
Not a red he doesn’t catch him with studs and u see fouls like that week in week out
-
That wasn’t dangerous and his feet were an inch above the grass, they hit above the knee thigh on thigh no?
-
Man U are exploring an option of midweek friendlies abroad to fill the money hole left by missing out on Europe. Well that puts to bed the bull they come out with about player safety

Page felt something in his hamstring whilst away with Eng U18s but examinations show he is good despite him saying he still feels something. An educated guess says he won't be involved saturday leaving the door open for Ramsey to start & Ayew to be 'bench rested' with hopefully Carranza leading the line but could equally see Daka starting as a show of loyalty. BDCR could be available

Will Nuno be bound by his compensation package for his sacking or can he still take the lot and sign on the dotted line for another club today, thinking Potter and why he sat on the side for so long, he was sacked also wasn’t he? If he’s bound it’s a tricky 1 because that’s a big chunk to throw away but at the same time I’m sure he wants to work straight away on another project, if he wants to stay in the premier league he’ll probably have options come January…be so tempted to sit it out and make the nob pay. As for the new man it’ll be someone out of work for sure, Ange, Dyche, Southgate, O’Neil come on down, there is quite a list of available managers mind and knowing him he’ll want a ‘name; Low, Motta, Schmitt, ETH ( 😂) Rose, Xavi, Spalletti but could see him going for Mazzarri

Did Sam Tierney play the DM role last season? her reading of the game today was not good she didn’t know if to press or sit so often did neither. The rest were as bad in their decision making there were a number of times where the ball was free after maybe a tackle, over hit pass whatever but you then got this 2 or 3 Leicester players look at the ball then at each other only for a Man U player to come between all 3 and walk off with the ball. I don't usually pick out individual players but it did stick out for Tierney so wondered if she was being played in a new role to her 🤷♂️ 1st game and all that but something that needs looking into asap.

& against Man U, losing this game won’t define our season

Was coming on to post the comment from the Merc today on Tom It looks like being a very promising loan season for the centre-back, who has started all of Swindon’s League Two matches so far, with five wins from seven putting them second in the table. Playing in the centre or on the left of a back three, Wilson-Brown looks to be firmly in Ian Holloway’s plans and should mean he gets plenty of development under his belt. It would be nice to see a future of Tom WB as LCB & Ben Nelson RCB

The sub windows are bloody annoying here, Man U made 3 separate subs in the space of 13mins, we’ve made 2 in 7minutes ffs the plan couldn’t have changed that much between the 1st & 3rd (2nd for us)

& Already our best player

I’d echo that Dr S, anybody showing any support to flag waving is being labelled far right but I see a lot of this as a call about the complete establishment not solely about immigration, yes maybe the illegal immigration was the final nail to kick start this showing but it’s not the be all and end all. I honestly don’t think it’s particularly because it’s a Labour government I think any party would get it and this is perhaps a show to the entire establishment the country’s had enough of lies and false promises. Every new term they offer up the same promises of more money in people’s pockets, better infrastructure, investment in this industry or that sector and the crowning jewel which wins votes, the we’ll bring back the NHS to best in class and the worlds envy…but at the end of every term nothing has changed and in most cases it’s gone backwards. As a light analogy I could liken it to the much referenced on here ‘happy clappers’ going along to every game sit watch clap and go home, they anger so many people on here because it doesn’t show the owners of fan displeasure. Now what can we general members of the public do to force change, yes vote for a different party, but then we find we are getting the same results, so for me I’d like to think the country wide show of flags and this rally on the 13th is about providing a wake up call to those in charge, regardless of party, that we’ve had enough and things need to change, let’s stop playing the same formation in the hope that you get a different result (if you will). I also get Labour have only been in a year and Rome wasn’t built in a day but at the same time we still see the same players lining up in the same formation.

Well in fairness he’s just about smashed the gangs as well. He’s paid France £1bn to see them safely into the water then gets the coastguard to pick them up, so as long as they can travel safely through the custom free EU then there’s no need for the middle men..gangs smashed ✅ 🤷♂️

Because you brought her up, it’s not so much the ‘law’ that is at question here but the fact she was being denied bail. Had she taken it to court the chances are she would have been found not guilty like that other berk but at the time of arrest she and those around her were denied bail and told they would probably sit in custody for 6-7mths+ due to backlogs, you could argue a ruse to get her/them to plead guilty quickly and have it dealt with and have her/them home for T as nobody expected a mother, carer and child minder to get a 3yr sentence for a misguided tweet. Why was the other berk granted bail despite his “misguidance” having a far greater reach being televised, locked into history as recorded & fundamentally said in front of a live baying crowd, now surely that would whip up more froff than stumbling across a random’s tweet 🤷♂️ Which part of Thatchers / Boris’s law differed between the 2 cases?

England Internationals - Andorra and Serbia
BKLFox replied to Leicesterpool's topic in General Football and Sport
Christ alive the England manager, pundits & media always have to have some sort of drama over the smallest issue for the England team, it’s worse than this forum, they don’t have a natural left back, who’s going to replace [ ? ] can he be replaced etc etc the current dilemma is who will play the ‘6’!!!! 😱 Tuchel has used 13 midfielders over 3 squads, the depth England have is unreal compared to most countries yet they can’t find 3 midfield players who complement each other, have we gone back to the noughties it’s Gerard, Lampard & Scholes all over again. Tuchel has suggested that Stones could play as the 6, Sky tell me he’s actually played the equivalent of 12.5 games in the role, jeez we have this abundance of midfield talent/players and again England want to shoe horn a player from a different position into “The Problem Position” what’s he doing that kids growing up as midfielders isn’t doing, maybe it’s what’s between his ears not how he uses his feet? Why is it we must have a 6,8,10 we must have a supporting role, box to box and defensive roles, why not use the inverted FB as supporting midfielder if you want to allow the midfield to attack, to much is made of what is a really simple game, why can’t we just get 3 players that have brains & complement each other and be our own team and not a clone of a team that’s had success playing a particular way previously. -
Week for Labour resignations then with Dennis Jones going (quietly especially on here) yesterday. Party for the people they say, I don’t think the girls from Rotherham would agree.
-
Bit risky considering a local team knocked out the might of Scottish football 😜

What’s she getting into & what are they getting for the record fee? You would imagine she’s getting a top up on what was probably a decent wedge at PSG but surely it’s not huge amount on top & probably not a big jump to say going to Chelsea. Then what’s her motive (away from cash) LCL are not a threat to the top 3 or 4 so their expectations must be to remain for the foreseeable future & building on that, yet she’s 28 will she see a title challenge just an odd move for her, especially if she’s rated at that fee. Then for the club, they have paid a record fee yet she’s not a name stacked with personnel honours nor a name so big in woman’s football that it goes down as a jaw dropping signing, it’s the fee that does that??
-
Can we all just agree that we don’t know what advice the deputy PM had on selling her house and we don’t know what’s happened/ happening with Winks personal life and the behind scenes chats & therefore if he comes on the pitch we all support him until we do know?

Someone’s been in a brew dog pub recently 😉

Shame he's in the Welsh squad could have been a nice 2 weeks for Marti to work with him (+ any other newbies) & be able to start with the full tactical brief v Oxford but i'm sure he'll walk in anyway.

He would be a starter in a 6/8 role with the added bonus of possible 10. He might not sound fancy but every club needs these type of players, players that do the basics really well. Yes he’s not there just yet but every player needs to grow, because he was mentioned where was KDH 5yrs ago go bigger and say where & what was Rice doing 5yrs ago when he was 21? I’m not saying he will end up like those but 5yrs ago Rice wasn’t the player he is now he just went about his business and was important to the team. For lesser big names look at James Garner, Sean Longstaff & Elliot Anderson who has just earned an England call up, none of them sound special but all do a particular job in their teams and ‘get’ the leagues they are in. He would be an excellent signing for now and future, just a shame we couldn’t pair with Hackney but would certainly take either 1 over our current crop.
