We did enough to win that, looked pretty comfortable when they attacked & we played some decent combinations at times, my “ooh marti ooh marti ffs” comment was solely aimed at his substitute of James for Carranza & not Ayew. James was having a decent debut and provided additional support in midfield, once he went off they got more joy there as Ayew doesn’t drop but will for along the line, but it looks like Ayew is his man 🤷‍♂️

I think there’s to much money involved now to do that, the only way is to get up and stay up be that 17th for 1 or 2 years to balance further. Dropping and having to keep selling potential £30-40m players for £10-20m & then picking up frees, loans and £3m players you end up with a championship club & finances.

i think if you go down the luxury route of Range Rover etc that size but a BMW X3 is no bigger in chassis size as a 3 series & smaller than a 5+ series, a Kia sportage is smaller than a Kia Stinger & a Tesla model S is bigger than all of them

I'm always wary about these types of so called "quick wins" to claw in funds because whilst the the headline states "UK could raise nearly 2bn....." who will then buy these vehicles thus missing out on the larger than normal car tax from original purchase along with potential closures of Land Rover & like minded plants in the UK due to lack of sales & lost investment in the UK. But what's really happening here which they have hidden in plain sight is they are aware that with electric cars they are going to be losing huges sums of funds through fuel & emission taxes & notice in the report they are saying these SUVs harm the roads more because they are heavier than a 'standard' car & therefore should pay more....well surprise surprise an electric car is heavier than its equivalent petrol/diesel car due to its battery size which will probably only get heavier in the near future before there is a break-thru in tech & thus are they spinning it as a SUV heavy tax to set up the same thing for all new electric cars?

Someone above mentioned it was once the worlds envy in health care x# of years ago...but when anyone says do you know how many people live in the UK how many people think of that number as 55m 1st? I certainly do because for as long as i could remember it was always around that maybe +2-3m, infact in 1990 it was 57m & it was still under 60m as late as 2005, its now just 20yrs later & pushing 70m in a time where population birth growth was meant to be on the decline in the UK. Bingo Everyone says chuck money at the problem but man someone at somepoint has to look at why it just hoovers what ever you you put into the hopper without making a dent. Just last week i was attending an appontment with my daughter at 1 hospital this was a nurse appointment, she then had a consultant appointment 3 days later at a different hospital & imagine my surprise when i see that consultant in the 1st hospital, we actually both looked at each other & without saying a word must have thought the same thing "why the f am i having to see you in 3 days time if i'm/your here now seeing the nurse" obviously the consultant then went in with the nurse & saw my daughter, freeing up an appointment slot 3 days later & saving me a another trip to a different hospital. But this & much more must go on daily, before we even get into medical contracts, outsource consultantancy fees, maintenance & cleaning contracts etc etc etc anyone who has a direct contract with an NHS trust is not just making enough to provide & survive they are creaming it because they know it will just get paid as once in the system the size of the system makes you undetectable.
