  1. Genuinely wonder what these players are like in training
  2. Done me dirty here.
  3. I'm not saying it's nailed on that we're staying up, just that it's ridiculous to claim that we're basically down when we're 1pt from safety with 11 games to play. If we hadn't had a pts deduction we'd be in 19th. We're shit, but we're not dead and buried.
  4. There's not a lot to get excited or even optimistic about with this side, but talk of us being dead and buried in March with 11 games to go is literally mental. There is so much criticism of the players on here for not caring about or fighting for the shirt - all I can say is I'm glad some of you lot aren't pulling it on either, **** me.
  5. We were 5pts off the playoffs before Oxford game - though I can't believe they weren't aware we were likely getting a pretty hefty deduction.
  6. I don't know, looking at the horrendous running costs we have - a couple of seasons stuck in League One could be enough. Had no idea the training ground cost such a tremendous amount of money to run. You can cut the wage bill, but you can't cut that - short of selling it. And who would want to buy it for the price we'd put on it?
  7. Yes completely in denial, blaming anyone and anything else, totally incapable of any kind of introspection. It's gotten to the point where I don't even think King Power CAN go anymore, because there's literally no-one else out there who will want to buy us and immediately start haemorrhaging money.
  8. Well, never thought we'd be here - but could be nearer than we think by the looks of things. Some pretty interesting information on the FSA's page: https://thefsa.org.uk/fan-resources/resource-training/community-owned-clubs/setting-up-a-new-club/ Time for Leicester Fosse FC?
  9. Says it all doesn't it? They should be down on bended knee.
  10. If he's been at the training ground, as suggested, then he can't be that averse.
  11. Announcing Pearson as interim until the end of the season with King as assistant manager would be such a simple, easy win for the club in terms of getting the fans back onside that it beggars belief they've not just got it done. Top and Rudkin think we're 'better' than the likes of Pearson, when the truth is that they have run us so far into the ground that we're actually worse off than the last time he was here.
  12. I'm not going to get my hopes up, we are 100% going to end up with Martin or Gerrard - someone like that.
  13. Interesting! It was really highly accredited for my specific subject (journalism) but guess that's not reflective of the uni as a whole.
  14. DMU was great when I did my masters there back in 2009. Really good university - never really saw any trouble or anyone causing any problems. What's happened?
  15. Waghorn was my fav 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
  16. Tbh Kingy should dust off his boots and play himself.
  17. We can't start Page and Choudhury in the middle, end of. Aribo is probably better than Hamza, and is better than Page at this point in his young career. Winks attitude still a question mark, and James out injured, it would be stupid not to sign someone. Some combo of Aribo/Skipp/Winks until JJ is back will be better than what we started with on Sat.
  18. It's just a backup option while other players get fit tbf, nothing to get excited about - but it is what it is
  19. Well we'll definitely score then.
  20. Wouldn't have thought it would be much at all, but agree. Be surprised if they've even heard of him, let alone if they're considering him for the job.
  21. You've said this about 5 times now - I'm sure you think it's very funny - but he's also been Director of Football at arguably the best sporting university in the country, his work with the England national Futsal team was impressive, he's worked with England u18s, he's worked with Leeds u21s and been their interim manager, and his current side are only 12 places below us in the football pyramid, where he's done a stellar job with very little budget, outperforming lots of historically bigger clubs. He's not just a PE teacher from Lutterworth College is he? It's like calling Postecoglu a Australian lower league manager because that's where he started out. Incidentally I don't think we should be looking at a manager who lost 60% of his games in his final season with a historically top 6 club and recorded their lowest ever lowest ever finish in football's modern era, before going to our rivals and losing nearly every single game and getting sacked after a month.
  22. Well we're not in one at the minute? 17th in form table, not great, not absolutely dreadful either - there are plenty of teams doing worse than us, on fewer points. As I said, closer to the playoffs than the relegation zone. Obviously a pts deduction changes the outlook, but we don't know what that will be.
  23. I keep hearing that the players need a 'kick up the arse' - do we really think this load of over-paid, underperforming prima donnas will respond (or even give a shit) if some Sam Allardyce style character comes in and starts throwing his weight around? I really, really doubt it.
