Need a striker, centre midfielder and a new CB - spine of the team is in DESPERATE need of reinforcements. But - how ****ing good was Monga? Yeah I think cameos from off the bench are fine for now. You're probably right, Brownhill, Winks and then one of Soumare/Skipp rotating with Page as backup. Just can't see anyone paying for Soumare unfortunately.

Fair point - although you would hope against League One opposition that he might have made a bit more of the chance he had. Still think there's a lot more to come from him though, and he is still only 20. Feels like he's older given how long he's been around.

If Brownhill comes in, then I imagine we see him, Winks and Page rotate. Soumare and Skipp are utterly honking.

Tbf I thought Page actually made a material difference to the team when he came off the bench against Huddersfield, pains me to say it but Alves was anonymous.

Isak still hasn't put one in - but the disruption they can cause without putting in an official request can sometimes be worse as we're seeing with Newcastle!

Genuinely not arsed about the result, but the performances from some were criminal. Soumare and Skipp look to be the worst midfield pairing I've ever seen. Choudhury doing Choudhury things. McAteer anonymous, same with Alves. Less said about Daka the better - a striker HAS to be priority. It's a shame for Nelson, but hopefully he will bounce back - thought Monga and Page both looked so promising too.

Unless it's written into his contract that he's required to spend x amount of nights at the training ground per week/per month then he's not 'refusing to make himself available' - he attends training, he attends games, that's it. I don't like the guy, but I don't think I'd be up for it either, it stinks of presenteeism to me - like the big push to get people back into the office for no discernible benefit so that they can sit on virtual Teams calls all day. Pointless.
