I was in the Box in Leeds…. Im not happy.
Appreciate that we missed a hat load of chances but that Daka goal was not offside. Completely different game if that stands.
Funny how quiet the bar was…. Bastards
The Athletic has said the following:
”Fatawu’s move will be made permanent before the end of the season and along with Stephy Mavididi, Leicester will have two wingers with plenty of potential to make an impact in the Premier League once promotion is eventually secured.”
I’d be intrigued to see if the “blue card” would be used to stop the “cynical foul” where a player (looking at you Fernandinho) takes one for the team if there’s a break on (and would normally get a yellow). Would be interesting to see if players think twice on that.
Mine too, some part of me really likes it that out of all the players from that era, it’s one of the more unassuming players who got it. Albrighton had a wonderful Champions League campaign to be fair.
The bigger irony is that the Premier League are made up of the 20 clubs and not just a random separate organisation. This is only really being brought about because of the independent regulator looming and it’s sweet delicious chaos seeing the premier league try to regulate itself
Girona only benefit it terms of access to the City Football Group (scouting network etc) and haven’t actually had that much investment from them. It does give them stability though. I’d say it’s pretty close to our achievement as our income to the greedy 6 income is fair bit closer (irrelevant of odds) compared to that of Girona against the likes of Real Madrid/Barcelona.
