  1. Said the exact same thing at HT when a group of 5, a couple of rows behind me, were clapping them at HT? I politely asked what they were clapping for? Did they generally enjoy what they were seeing and thought we were playing well or were they just used to clapping at the end of things to signify they were there? No reply, just a long stare which looked like it went through my soul at one point. I generally think they’ve been brainwashed.
  2. This guy earns weekly what some of us do in a year and can’t do the basics of defending such as looking behind him when a ball is crossed. He did the same at Newcastle last week. The majority of our goals conceded this season have been down the right side but yet it still isn’t being addressed. Are all of our players simply that idiotic that they need instructing to do the basics!!!
  3. If you watch this clip in full it isn’t the fact the back post is completely free, it’s the fact that the first header is completely untracked by Justin and Choudhury who just don’t look behind them. Absolute school boy stuff.
  4. Great result which should build some confidence but we need to stop thinking negatively and passing it back at every opportunity. Just invites pressure! Hopefully Ruud can get them playing positively and build on this!
  5. I said the exact same thing after the Chelsea game when all fingers pointed at Cooper. This squad is not Prem quality. Our defence is woeful. Colanders don’t allow as much through as much as our back line does.
  6. People also seem to forget how much time Pearson was given when he went through bad spells. Prime example is 14/15 season in which we were 18th after 12 games with exactly the same points as today. Also the fact we were largely in the bottom 3 for most of that season. Majority weren’t calling for him to be sacked at that time. Also went on a 12 out of 13 games run in the championship in 12/13 season without a win and only finished 6th on goal difference when we were in a comfortable 2nd at the beginning of February when it happened. Ranieri should be number 1.
  7. Deffo! But I’d gladly moan about their attitude toward a sinking ship they created rather than effort to get us out it. Still, agree would much rather have them in the team today haha!
  8. You mean the squad that took us down and jumped ship at first moment to get out…
  9. I’m going to be completely honest and admit that I voted to keep and I still am not 100% in the out camp yet but will be if we don’t get at least 4 points out the next 2 games. I fully agree that our performances this season have been hit and miss but I generally didn’t think we’d stay up this season and am surprised there is such a large amount of our fan base who think we are a decent side who can stay up. The majority of our squad are not good enough at this level. This is not Coopers fault. No matter who we have in charge we generally are not good enough to compete IMO. Our defence is terrible. Our midfield are not attack minded and we have a 37 year old leading the line on his own. Apart from Mads and Buonanotte (who isn’t even our player) we have no Prem talent. Vardy is exempt as it’s clear he’s not the player he once was and should really be thinking it is close to calling it a day. The whole ‘look what Enzo achieved with the same players’ is not a valid debate as the championship is dire. We should have walked that league and did. Even Southampton and Ipswich proved its miles apart in standard from the Prem. No matter what manager is in charge we will not be a decent side unless we get a complete overhaul of the board and squad which isn’t going to happen. I’ll give him two more games and if we don’t get at least 4 points. He needs to go to see if anyone else can get something out of the squad. We just need to be less shit than 3 other teams. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be.
  10. We’ve not made them look decent. We’re just utter garbage
  11. And I agree but I don’t think it was like watching Man City vs Burton. We just seemed to fold after they scored early doors second half and we were still in the changing rooms. Unfortunately it seemed like nobody wanted to step up and lead to snap us out of it.
  12. Sorry, I forgot football was played in 45 mins. Did you honestly think Forest were miles ahead of us in terms of quality? I personally, as originally stated, thought they were just better organised. We’re more than good enough to stay in this division. But we need better organisation through the team. As I said, this is due to in game decisions by players being able to follow the managers gameplan which is captained by a leader on the pitch. We don’t have this.
  13. The thing is they weren’t miles ahead of us in terms of quality. They were just better organised. As most people have said we actually had a decent 1st half and the game was fairly even up to HT. We gave them 3 easy goals due to our inability to defend and recognise team game plans. Route 1 to Wood, who bullied Faes and Okoli all game, with two quick wingers who cut inside to get a shot away. I’m sorry but our back 4 were shocking last night. The last goal was Sunday league stuff. All Faes needed to do was block Wood off so Okoli can deal with the ball. He’s an international defender and should be taking charge of that situation. Justin and Ricardo allowed their wingers inside every time, but not one central midfielder then came in to make a crunching tackle. It really isn’t that difficult to see and adapt too when that is all they kept doing. That isn’t down to management that’s down to individual players being unable to make in game decisions. We need a leader and have needed one since we lost Morgan. If that’s meant to be Coady then play him so he can sort the lacklustre players out. If it’s not, sign a nasty b**tard who is a leader on the pitch and will make others accountable.
  14. I was speaking solely about yesterday. So you expected us to not concede at all in our first 3 games then? Great optimism that is for a newly promoted side with Faes at the back….
  15. What 2 attacking midfielders who seem fairly lightweight against a physical side (el khannouss and buonanotte), soumare (who no one wants back on the pitch for us), ward and DCR? Only question for Cooper to answer which is the same one - why did Ricardo not play? If you’re trying to see the game out you bring on your physical players and that’s what he did in Choudhury and Coady. Not his fault Coady had a *oh s*it* moment…
