To be fair, 4 of those goals came in one game. I think he’s only scored in 2 games this season. One for the future perhaps, but I don’t think he’s one for now. Having said that, we have no alternatives. I really think the Skipp money should have been spent on a decent striker, we can’t rely on Vardy scoring all season, and if we do, I think we’ll struggle to survive.

Football in general?? I think there’s a lot of talk on the main page about the effects Leicester is having on peoples enjoyment of the game, but I think on the whole we are missing the big flair players - Where’s the Gazzas of this generation? Players like that have all the excitement coached out of them and they either drop away or become dull boring possession players. I want someone who gets me out of my seat every time they get the ball. Remember Julian Joachim coming through and you couldn’t wait to see him on the ball and be excited… now it’s dull across the board.

Hermansen - for 5aside game he’s by far the best option. Faes bargain at 1 point, and his movement will be invaluable, at 5aside he’s get you as many goals as he costs you. Muzzy, need that creative spark, along side Winks keeping the ball moving. The goat would be every where and would get his shout in at the bar afterwards. That gives me 1 point left over.

Not having a dig, but can you explain why you think the resources we have is better than 15th in the league? The 5 points you’ve put together are basically just one thought rehashed in 5 different ways. Our first 11 is okay, when everyone is fit and on form, but. I better than okay. Mads is probably the only player in the squad we have that could attract interest from a team pushing for a European place. The squad is then paper thin. The likes of Luke Thomas, BDCR, Edouard And Daka are all going to have to be used at some point this season in games. I think so far we’ve done as expected. The objective this season is just survival and then we have a foundation to build upon. It takes time to get back to where we were and we need to be patient. I don’t think chopping and changing the manager every 5 minutes is going to help with the big plan.

Everton have been fortunate for about the last 30 years. Apart from a couple of decent seasons under Moyes they should have gone down in several seasons. I still can’t believe they survived that Wimbledon game in maybe 94/95 when everything went their way in the last 10 minutes of both their game and I think it was Sheff Utds game and they went down . The Wombles missed a handful of easy chances too that day.
