It was in the first half, Mavididi crossed the ball and it hit the outstretched arm of the Bournemouth defender. Looked a stonewall penalty on tv.

Of course they will change their views, as should everyone - the more evidence that becomes available, the more people should change their views. The flip side could also be asked, how would opinions change if we win all three games? 15 points from 10 games is a very healthy total? 6 from 10 is not good enough. Don’t think of this though as Cooper in Vs Cooper our people, it’s really not that simple. Some choose to look at the negatives in everything and to change that around we need to change everything, some chose to see the positive in everything and see things as not too bad a start at all. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle and the jury is still out.

XG is the most overrated stat in football and is completely meaningless, unless used over a long period of time. Once everyone has player everyone, it might be worth looking at but right now it’s completely irrelevant. The fact we’ve only lost one game by more than one goal, and that was conceding twice in injury time does suggest we’ve been hard to beat, we haven’t given anyone an easy game, compare that to wolves, Southampton and Ipswich who have been the three worst sides so far this season - and out only aim is to be better than at least three teams come the end of May.

Of the fit and available academy products who would or could have been included in the squad today and improved it? Thomas ahead of Ricardo? Alves ahead of El Khannous? McAteer ahead of Fatawu? Maybe McAteer ahead of BDR? But I think BDR is a decent shout on the bench for his versatility. I love seeing young players come through, and hopefully one of the loanees will come back and be ready to join the first team, right now we don’t have a youth product that improves the match day squad in my opinion.

Him and Alves are completely different players, there’s no comparison at all. Soumare, was brought on to add a bit of physicality and be a presence in midfield - that is never going to be Alves. Alves is behind Buonannote and El Khannous. Whether Soumare did an effective job on not is up for debate, but he’s not the player keeping Alves out the team.

There was also a VAR decision that went against us today. For their goal it was a clear as day offside, not a debatable armpit hair close decision. Then we had a clear penalty turned down by both the ref and VAR. We also had some very good chances today. Can we just be happy we got three points?

What about if Vardy had scored one of the two really good chances he had? What about if the ref had given the stonewall penalty we should have had? Would it then be a case of fantastic, brilliant Leicester?? Look, it’s not pretty, but the only thing we’re looking for this season is survival, so let’s enjoy the wins when we get them - there’s still 4 teams that would have loved a scrappy back to the wall win from somewhere this season. -

Skipp man of the match for me, he was brilliant and everywhere. Buonanotte is a special, special player in those tight scrappy games we are going to need his moments of magic this season - outstanding. The back 4 all played well, Faes and Okoli won everything. Vardy was off the pace, but Edouard was absolutely honking when he came on. -

Who said it was good? We’re a struggling team in this division, no wins we have this year are going to be playing great football and playing teams of the park. The objective is to stay up and get points on the board. Enjoy the win!! -

I have and I watched it, but to say we won despite the manager not because of him is a ridiculous comment. -

They did, and we had a blatant penalty turned down and missed a couple of really good chances ourselves. Its not pretty, and nothing about this season is going to be pretty. But if you can grind out wins like that you give yourself a chance of survival. -

This is the most embarrassing comment and only demonstrates a lack of any sort of football knowledge. -

Ayew was playing centrally and not in Fatawus position. -

Why not? Have you seem the other teams at the bottom? If we can grind out results like that we’ve got a chance. -

I thought he’s been quality today so far?? What am I missing?
-
Decent enough half that, Skipp I thought was the outstanding player on the pitch. Buonanotte has that little bit of extra quality that we are going to need in games like this. Big half coming up…
-
That’s got to be a penalty!!! The arms out and high and blocked the cross???
-
Never fall in love with a loan player… I think we may all need reminding of this regularly this season!!
-
What a goal!!!! Get in!!!

Has it really come to this? We are 6 games into a season, where we knew 17th place was the aim and we’ve got supporters hoping we lose games, why? So they can be proved right? How about support the team? Hope we turn it around? We know football is a funny game and confidence is a huge part of it, one win can quickly lead to a run of positive results. I could never fathom going into important games, or any game for that matter hoping we get royally stuffed. The negativity surrounding the club at the minute is off the charts, and I’m sure is leading to more of our problems. We need three points, we need all aspects of the club to be pulling in the same direction. We know this will be a tough season, just back the lads! -
How many clubs in the Premier League currently do not have some form of rail seating/safe standing?
