How do you work that out? If all three win every game between now and the end of the season, we win the league. The only thing that matters is we keep winning.

I believe it’s called an honesty flag these days… but maybe to honest for the club.

Not saying we’ve been great, but Wolves had one season in Europe, haven’t really been successful in any cups and have sat around mid table. We were aiming to be a step higher, we won the cup and played in Europe 3 seasons in a row - we needed to do more to ensure our squad could compete in the extra games. Ultimately we failed, and spent poorly, but ours and Wolves path was very different. West Ham would be the best club to compare us to, but again their huge attendance compared to ours gives them better financial pull, as does being in London when attracting new players.

What’s happening on the pitch trumps what’s happening off the pitch every single time. If you’re at the game you back the lads for 90 minutes. Before or after the game show your disapproval for the off field actions. But from when you’re smiling starts playing until the final whistle, supporters back the lads on the pitch.

I am actually surprised it’s never been attempted or spoke about happening at Premier League level. With all the American and global owners, look at most other major sports around the world, there’s a playoff systems to decided the ultimate champion and it’s worth billions in sponsorship and tv deals. I’m certainly not advocating for it at that level and I love that the Champions are the best team over the whole season, but from a financial and excitement point of view im surprised it’s never really been discussed.

Winks for me, will possibly lose votes due to the recent bias of these types of votes, but overall he’s been our best, followed by KDH and then Vestergaard.

Remember playing Birmingham away when it felt like the whole world was against us. We were bottom of the league, we’d just had 9 players banged up in Spain and 3 were still in custody. We got a great 1-0 away win that day and it felt magic. One of the best away days. Anyway, I’d love to see the same at this point, a real performance from the lads and get the three points.
