Why not try something different, we are away at the team in the league with the best home record. We have drawn 1 in the last 5 losing the rest, conceding a shed load of goals. People are so negative. -

Pretty sure we gave Enzo and Cooper 3 year contracts. This is 2 and a half as we are half way though the season. -

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!
coolhandfox replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
They want Potter both times and he probably messed them about, playing the in-out dance. No, but the desire to take action can, maybe he was 50/50 to sack Cooper and Chelsea display push that 100%. If we have Ruud confirmed by the weekend I don't think a week is that long. -

I think it is easier to be proactive when you have an attractive proposal, we had a squad with loads of potential, who was already a top PL 10 side. Do you think Smith and Cooper were the first choices, or do you think we actually spent time trying to convince someone decent to come? -

He was never going to be in the dugout for Brentford. He will probably meet the players today, and do his PR stuff and it will be announced sometime between now and Sunday. -
Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

Sorry, I think you are wrong in some respects. So you appoint Ruud late Wednesday with little time to prepare or spend time with the players for a game we are in all probability going to lose, Brentford who have the best home record in the league. We get beaten its a poor start for the new man, and we lose a bit of the new manager bounce. The most important thing for a manager is to get a good start, doing that at the best home team in the league isn't easy. Or you can appoint him over the weekend, and he can watch the game from the stands. Gives him four days to prepare for a big home game in front of an energised KP! If we get something at Brentford it will be credited to the Ruud effect, if we don't it goes against the caretaker coaches. I think the only complaint we can have is not sacking Cooper in the international break, but then again would you want your new manager having Chelsea at home and Brentford away in his first few games, the new manager bounced destroyed in 2 games? -

So anyone who has ambition is entitled, and you shouldn't aim above your station.

I was being greedy, I'd also have a LB.

Any appoint is a risk. -
Didn't they fall out?
-
More fool them if they do!
-
You can have people lined up, but it is not sealed until someone signs a contract.
-
Don't get why people get upset about the media, leave then too it and follow fan made stuff.
-
I have no idea whether Ruud will be decent or not, but hopefully it will all be a little less toxic and everyone can pull together.
