  1. Hopefully, we just need to bite the bullet!
  2. When you consider they introduced the Homegrown Player Rule is an initiatives to be developed from an earlier age in the hope of nurturing more homegrown talent and it forms part of the League's Elite Player Performance Plan. Then they introduce PSR which totally undermines it, juts because they don't have the balls to do squad salary caps and sort out rogues agents.
  3. I think he has a massive opportunity as well.
  4. Thought he looked very sharp on Saturday!
  5. Which would see us book at profit in this years accounts as he will have around 700k amortisation left on the books. If it true we value him at 13m with a year left, 100% we don't sell and he walks away for free in the summer. Interesting to see what we do with Ricardo, Justin, Daka, Soumare, Coady, Winks, Ayew all out of contract in the summer. We should be looking to sale as many as we can this season. Massive opportunity to sort ourselves out.
  6. Name someone who wasn't? Bad attitude or just realised RVN was a fraud before most, seemed fine under Enzo and Cooper.
  7. Feeling Mads goes, we bring in another young keeper to challenge Jakub and we need an experienced pro to support.
  8. We all want them to succeed, the academy and recruiting other young players to develop is the only way out of this mess.
  9. @honeybradger some of us went, but hey ho.
  10. Don't think I've ever been wetter at a football match!
  11. I assume she know how to spell her own surname, don't fall for this shit.
  12. So you are picking and choosing what games you can evaluate players on, interesting take. My point isn't about not trusting them or believing in them, it's about giving them a platform to thrive and develop and for the club to be successful at the same time. To do that we need a balance of youth and experience, exposuring players to the right level of challenge at the right time.
  13. 100% With 46 league games and the opportunities that a 9 man bench provides they will get minutes. Chuck in a few LC and FA Cup games as well.
  14. Nothing wrong with have them involved but people are being a bit silly expecting the all to start league games. We need to feed them in at the right times.
  15. I think some people are getting a little to carried away with our young players I've seen people suggesting league starring line up with 4 or 5 of them in. People forget a team including Aluko, JJ junior, Page, Monga, Evan where beaten by Northampton reserves in the Johnston Paint last season. We need to blood them in around a core of experience pros.
  16. Unlikely we are going to field a team of 16-18 year olds, I suspect Monga will be the only one that gets serious game time.
  17. Also we are highly unlikely to loan out any of those due to their ages, whilst Braybrooke and Golding are are older and easier to send out on loan. We the influx of kids we have a massive squad.
  18. Something Enzo was never keen on, give each FB something else to think about. It was a pretty standard thing to try back in the day.
  19. True. I think is probably behind that list of the pecking order.
  20. In the central areas we have a lot of players in front of them, Winks, Skipp, Ndidi, Soumare, Khannouss, Alves. We are unlikely to loan out Page, so I can see these both being up for loan. They both need to be playing games.
  21. Like most he's had his confidence beaten out of him. Also missed the end of the season injured so maybe not be as fit as possible. I think we have to be clever with Monga he's not going to be playing 46 games and often in the Championship there is 3 games a week. I can see a mix of Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Alves and Macteer on the wings over the season. Whilst Fatawu and Mavididi were one of our biggest strengths in the last Championship campaign they probably got over played, much more options this time.
  22. Always easier to talk the talk, rather than walk the walk.
  23. Most telling thing is watching Monga hold the ball up and body players out of the way at 16. Opposite to Daka fall over and give them ball away.
