  1. Documentary, or Shock-you-mentally, as Nathan Barley would say. The Wonders of the Solar System was fascinating stuff, and I really enjoyed The Root of All Evil. I saw a documentary about a chap who tried to track down the Winnebago Man recently that was good. I think the last documentary I saw was about a bloke who was chatting to a girl online, and he travelled across the US to meet her. I can't remember what it was called, and I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Does anyone know what the name of it was? I was looking at the tv listings recently, and found out I'd just missed Exit Through the Gift Shop. It looks right up my street. That has to be next on my list of documentaries to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI4rNonP87g&NR=1
  2. Rubber dinghy rapids, brother.

  4. Mother - Danzig Holy Thursday - David Axelrod The New Style - Beastie Boys
  5. Christ that's a scary stat.
  6. I NEED to see that soon. I'm a bit obsessed with the ills of religion, so that's right up my street. There's a weekly show from Texas you can watch here which is good. They sometimes get priceless callers. I've been working my way through my Curb Your Enthusiasm dvds again. Still need to get the last two series.
  7. Haha! Brilliant! Warwick should have been in the film "Twins" instead of Danny DeVito. Weird coincidence - I saw this the other day. Possibly the funniest single image I've ever laid eyes on...
  8. Arnold Schwarzenegger received no Easter eggs this year. His p.a. said to him, "Oh, Arnie, this is terrible, isn't it? You must really hate Easter now." He replied, "I still love Easter, baby."
  9. Lesbian singer K.D. Lang Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet
  10. Bad luck, Brizzle fans. Someone should tell them not to worry - we won't be taking their best striker off them as we are pursuing other targets... because he looks rubbish now.
  11. I'm not sure, but I think it's related to the number of comments you've left. I noticed that all the members who have made roughly the same number of posts have the same Leicester legend's name under their avatar, and the members with custom names have all made 1000's.
  12. To me, that quote - "Jose Mourinho's R madrid simply outclassed SGEs Leicester at the King Power Stadium last night" reads, "The sky is blue, and water is wet."
  13. Did you read the bit where a Leicester fan replied to a F*rest fan saying "To be honest, I really don't care about Leicester" with, "You should put that on your club's badge."?
  14. I know! "No! You're not allowed to be successful unless you only use sh*t players, have a sh*t manager and do it with no money! Scumbags!" I'm really enjoying being a fan of a club that everyone seems to hate at the moment. It's weird, but I like it. Got to go - I have to wipe the caviar and Dom Perignon off my top hat with a swan's neck.
  15. http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/137075-fed-up-with-east-midland-clubs/ On the Brizzle boards, they've created a thread slagging off all the East Midlands clubs for some reason. Comedy gold. "Anyway i couldn't give a **** about these Midlands clubs to be honest. Fair play Forest are big, there trophy cabinet dosn't lie and i wll always have respect for them as a club. But Leicester Cov and the rest? Na we have potential to be as big if not bigger and that is why they dont bother me. We will never win the European cup twice but have a 30,000 seater stadium spend a large amount of time in the top 2 divisions and win a carling cup or two like Leicester city have done? 30 years down the line Yeah why not, we are more than capable of that IMO." Pretty ambitious some of those Brizzle fans. They should ask the Chavs (if they can find any) whether it's a good idea to build a big stadium if you can't fill it. Ashton gate is roughly the same size as Filbert St. was - 21,497 capacity. Last season, their average crowd was 14,604 ffs. They seem to think being in this division is some big achievement. And then they talk about being bigger than us? You cannot write stuff as good as this. Plus, 30 years to achieve that? What will we have done by then I wonder? "...and F*rest glory days were under possibly the best English manager ever in Brian Clough." What? So if you win a trophy, it doesn't count if you had a good manager at the time? Cretins.
  16. As soon as I posted it, I noticed that. Plus the end of the 1920s must have been pretty good, finishing 2nd and 3rd in the top division, and getting to all those FA Cup finals in the 1960s must have been good, even though we lost them all.
  17. Hello all, I've been visiting for rumours and news for a while, but only just recently started posting anything here myself. Grew up in Leicester and Sileby, then lived in Oxford for a few years, so I haven't been able to get to many matches for a while. Now I've just moved back to Leics. and looking forward to going to watch games much more often. Has there ever been a more exciting time to be a Foxes fan?
