for £25m you would ideally want a nailed on starter at our level/budget. I'm not writing off Skipp - but he isn't nailed on
-
Looks like a real gem, he's young so will make the odd mistake but seems to have the mentality, desire and skillset to really excel in this side
-
with Wilf, Bouba and Winks in the midfield I just wish we hadn't gone out and spunked £25m on Skipp - who I'm unclear as to what his strengths are. That money could have been spent on a more creative, box-to-box ball carrier which I think we desperately lack
-
Last chance saloon for Coady Ive all but written him off, let’s see if he can prove me wrong
-
Even the new gaffer doesn’t fancy Skipp. what a waste of £25m
-
I'd like him in the side but I'm not sure we can trust Mav to track back as a WB. They would have a field day exposing Coady

Today’s performance hit rock bottom for me. I knew it would be a shocker as soon as I saw the team sheet. I hope Top is on the phone to this Dawson fella as we speak handing him his p45. i really hope we see a strong bounce in performances going forwards. Ruud has his work cut out. -
F**k me, where do we start!? 2 new full backs 1 CB who has pace and positional sense 1 creative & combative CM 1 starting striker 2 wide attacking players / wingers good luck RVN is all I can say

Sounds like a man crush -
People worried about the delay. These things take time, clauses in contracts that sort of thing, plus he’ll want assurances on his backroom staff and their contracts etc. wouldn’t surprise me if it’s announced tonight and that he’ll be watching from the stands tomorrow, or worst case Sunday evening announcement
-
who is the most realistic comparison out there to replicate what Villa did when they fked off Gerrard and brought in Unai Emery? Is there a similar option we can go out and get if we just pay a release clause (which may be a blocker...)
-
does this not now mean that we can secure significant investment from King Power Group without it breaking the new laws around owner investment? Basically KP can sponsor us to whatever tune they wish as Top is the owner not them
-
Genuinely baffled as to how we have 10 points under this manager. Are there any tactics in play here?
-
McAteer really??
-
Mavididi at HT was the sub, move Fatawu to RW and then maybe we could have a go. had enough of this clown. Get him gone. Awful
-
The lads are kicking it about like it’s a pre-season friendly 😭
-
For the love of god make some fkin subs Cooper!!!!

Haha…I was literally thinking the same thing last night. I’ve not actually seen him play a composed pass yet…it’s staggering when he’s supposed to be a professional footballer -
Ayew and BEK have done Ok. The rest can **** off
-
Because we all know deep down that it isn’t going to work so it just all feels like a complete waste of time and life till a change is made
-
Skipp running around like a competition winner
-
**** off. Scrawny rat
-
Bilal! Ping
-
Will there ever be a day when we put in a comfortable defensive performance under this bloke!? and we’ve already had our obligatory one shot on target…could be a long night
-
TS will always belittle us and make comments like ‘Leicester fans are entitled’ without watching barely 10% of our games as they focus so much of their focus on the Top6. Your point on ingame management is very valid. Nearly every game this season may have started with a tactical ‘game plan’ but by about 60 mins they’ve ended in a free for all desperately trying to salvage something out of a lost cause. Loss of shape, weird personnel, etc. not once tonight did either Mavididi or Fatawu go on the outside - surely Cooper would have drilled that into them after it proved so successful in the previous game and knowing that Nuno keeps a very solid back line that’s hard to penetrate through the middle i just feel like the longer we keep this bloke the longer we’ll be having the same moans on here. dont get me wrong, some of our play was good at times last night but we have good players! Just wish we had a manager that knew how to get the best out of them
