won't be him then!
-
Has Rudkin finally topped up his credit and picking up his phone? Feels like rumours are coming in thick and fast now
-
JJ been a good servant but we've seen the best of him. If he moves on then good luck to the lad.
-
get him gone by the weekend. The fee and saving of wages will be very welcomed plus we have plenty of cover in this area
-
yes, I've been impressed with him from the bits I've seen of pre-season. I think he's left-footed too which offers good balance. Pre-season to actual competitive games is a big step-up though but really hope the lad can take any opportunities
-
He's based up in the NW too so this would be a much shorter commute
-
oh you can just imagine how much air-time he would get on that documentary...ticks all the boxes for the gob-shite

Our current central midfield is awful. It’s not athletic, it lacks pace, it lacks height, it lacks technical skills - this is our biggest problem area IMO (even over strikers). if we can somehow keep him I’d be playing BEK slightly deeper and get him on the ball in the middle of the park - that is unless we manage to clear out the likes of N’didi, Winks and Soumare and can re-invest

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

I think if we get a decent offer then we should look to move on. -

As great as Monga looks, he's 16 and therefore will likely need taking out at some point during the season to 're-charge' so I think we'll need Stephy pretty much as often as we've needed him in the past. If we get a ridiculous offer for him then yeah let's sell and recruit someone who has the potantial to be more consistent -
I reckon Mads to West Ham will gather pace quickly now
-
Do we have a GK coach at the club currently? maybe kills two birds with one stone…
-
I think at best we’ll be getting a loan from the Prem, can’t see us spending £5m+ on a striker given our current financial troubles. to be honest if not spending money means we kept BEK and got a decent loan (Guiu?) then I think that’s a good result
-
My god, Monga is going to be some watch this season. Largely unknown to other fans of other clubs - that won’t last long after a few games
-
Trying not to get too wound up as it’s pre-season but watching Skipp & Winks plod around the pitch really irritates me
-
Could get a pasting here
-
Louis Page looks neat and tidy… like the fact he is left footed too
-
What do you expect with a pair of cart horses at CB.

What has Daka done there!?

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

If the manager can impress him and we can build a good culture over pre-season then maybe can convince him to give us another year…it’s not out of the realms of possibility -
I think sell if we receive a reasonable offer. Can't see him ever getting back to the levels that earned him an England call and he'll be on sizeable wages. We can get someone younger and cheaper as a replacement or look to rotate Ricky with an academy lad
-
Golding isn’t up to much is he
-
This really is going to be the season for the academy players to stand up and make a name for themselves

This a big job for him when you look at his managerial career, probably a natural next step as he’s not going to get a Prem job. lets hope he can use the youth and find a style that gets the best out of our flair players (Mavididi, Monga, Fatawu) as that’s where our strengths are and can really hurt teams in this division. the first job on the to do list is to recruit a young striker who can get 15-20 goals at this level with the potential to perform in the Prem should we be in the promotion mix
