Over the years I’ve generally always made the effort to watch the lads whether it be going to the game or on the telly but for the first time in probably ever I’m just totally losing interest as it’s just copy & paste every single game. i doubt we’ll barely create more than 3 goal scoring chances for the rest of this game.

Was talking to a couple of mates who support Wolves and they say this new manager has come in a straight away and identified that 4 at the back doesn’t work due to player limitations. He’s therefore moved them to 3 CB’s with 2 wing backs which has made them much more solid and got the best out of the defenders - hence they are starting to get points and put in better performances. cant help but think this is the way RVN should be setting up but it appears he’s too stubborn to make any changes to shape or personnel

If you look at the majority of the teams who have overtaken us in recent years (Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton etc) they all have pace, power and purpose out wide. (Semenyo, Outtara, CHO, Elanga, Mitoma etc etc) its something we lack in any of our forward/winger options (exc. Fatawu) and hence why we barely create or take any chances per 90mins

I feel like we either have to concentrate so hard on defending that we are powder puff going forwards or if we commit men forward then we are powder puff in defence. Just so poor

Yeah the guy can run the channels but whenever he gets the ball he just gets out-muscled by defenders or plays a wayward pass, he’s no goal threat whatsoever. tbh this system we play doesn’t suit either Daka or JV - but guess what, we’ll see exactly the same next weekend and get the same outcome

I thought aside from a 5 minute cameo Winks was dreadful, no strength, kept giving the ball away… has to be N’didi and Soumaré in the middle going forwards
