Russell recruiting McCarthy makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Why would a manager bring in a player who he knows from his own experience of managing them that they cannot play the style of football that manager insists on? It's inexplicable.

This is a good move for all parties* *with the exception of Watford. This is a terrible move for them.

I'd rather have Faes back than this guy. At least Wout can pass, even if he is a knobhead. Okoli on the other hand, is genuinely terrible.

A move to Leuven makes so much sense if no-one wants him. Gets to go home for a year, we'll have to subsidise his wages so he'll be fine financially and he puts himself in the shop window. We get rid of an expensive reserve and he gets to play regularly (you would think). I don't want to patronise any Leuven fans, but surely he'd be decent in the Jupiler.

Let's hope very much that it's Okoli, although you'd imagine it's Souttar as he can actually play football.

Usually when a player has been at a club as long as Hamza has at LCFC, that player is universally loved by the fans, even if they're not the best. I think it says a lot about Hamza that no-one is particularly sad that he's gone. He's stolen a living for large parts of his Leicester career.

Just seen an interview with John Eustace and his language when talking about Hamza suggested it's pretty much done.

I think it would actually be a good move for him. He's tended to do okay during his loan spells and I wonder if that's because he's had to prove himself, whereas it seems as though it's all too comfortable for him here. Needs to get out of his comfort zone for his own sake as much as the club's. That's my theory anyway.
