  1. I dunno, there was that time we sacked Steve Cooper....
  2. Potter or Moyes I'd be okay with, not exciting but solid. RVN is a no from me, though. One relatively unsuccessful year in charge of PSV where he was disliked by the players. Not the man for the current situation IMHO.
  3. Give it Nick De Marco until the end of the year. Performed miracles for us already this season.
  4. In two minds about Potter. On one hand, he'd be a safe bet, but on the other, Brighton have kicked on massively since he left and their football is so much better to watch now. They couldn't score in a brothel when he was in charge. However, he did help to lay a lot of the foundations that they're benefitting from now, though. He's got a bit of the Nige about him, but not as funny or as likeable...or as psychotic.
  5. Celebrating their magnificent victory over Chelsea, why not?
  6. I'm hoping / wondering if it's happened now because the replacement is ready and imminent, and we didn't want to lose whoever it is to other clubs thinking of sacking their manager.* *I realise that this is the LCFC board we're talking about here
  7. Yeah, I'd be okay with that. He'd keep us up, and I the think players would respect him.
  8. Agreed. I'm not keen on RvN either, gives me OGS vibes. FML LOL YOLO
  9. I'm not sticking the knife in, because he seems like a decent guy, but I think he'll be managing in League 1 in a couple of seasons. He's an Adkins / Taylor type figure - some way short at the top level.
  10. Whoever it is, it'll be someone out of work. Nailed on.
  11. It's obviously absolutely critical they get this one right. Go down and we're totally ****ed.
  12. Relieved. Was a terrible appointment that was never going to work. I'm loathe to give credit to those to those who thought this was a good appointment, but at least they have acted relatively soon this time.
  13. Interesting that on MOTD, Gary Lineker and Ashley Williams both said he should focus more on our failings, rather than trying to blame the referee. I don't think he actually achieved his desired aim of defecting from his own inadequacy this time round and I'm glad he didn't. The guy is desperate.
  14. Cooper criticises referee Madley after penalty calls - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cnvjn7e43z8o Absolute charlatan. We were shit, he was shit. Own it. He's knows exactly what he's doing by deliberately trying to make it the talking point. Bet he wasn't complaining when Wilf got away with a yellow when he could easily have a red. Couldn't care less he managed Forest, I absolutely cannot stand the guy.
  15. Sadly, I think you're bang on.
  16. Agreed. The ref actually made a few decisions that benefitted us, tbf. Pen was one of the few things that he got wrong.
  17. It's costly errors in just about every PL game he plays, Wymsey. The guy is nowhere near good enough at this level. He's a liability
  18. I'm not sure he's arrogant, he's just shite.
  19. Pep's tactics have been terrible tonight. The two inverted fullbacks has been a disaster
  20. I felt numb watching that game today. Might be an age thing, but I've never felt more disconnected. Feels like the club is just drifting from one calamity to the next.
  21. He's a ****ing liability. Way off the standard required for the Premier League.
  22. Pathetic performance. Chelsea absolutely cruised it. That was a disgusting effort.
  23. Show some bollocks for once, Top.
