  1. There's still fans who are behind KP. Brainpower isn't a strength of some of our fans.
  2. Kingy has said he doesn't want the job. However, if Top and Jon don't appoint anyone (and I don't believe they intend to) then Kingy has to keep on going until 1 of 3 things happens. 1) He leads us to safety- which we know won't happen. 2) Kingy can't save us and we're relegated and Kingy is the public face of our relegation and therefore the scapegoat. This is already happening btw. 3) Kingy clocks what's happening here and walks away.....he then becomes the club legend who walked away when the club was at its most desperate - and guess what....he becomes the scapegoat anyway. I am convinced this isn't all total incompetence. It's also deeply, deeply cynical from the two parasites that 'run' this club. I think Kingy stepped up because he loves the club and his intentions are good. I don't think his employers share those good intentions. There's levels to the extent he's been thrown under the bus here.
  3. Remember when Alan Shearer got Newcastle relegated in 2009? Well, he didn't really, did he? He had 8 games to save a club in free fall. A club that had been chaotic behind the scenes for a while. However, people only remember it as Shearer getting them relegated. People don't remember all of the mistakes the board made, just that a club legend couldn't turn it round. Some Newcastle fans still haven't forgiven Shearer for that, which is madness. This is exactly the narrative being created and I sincerely hope Kingy sees that and walks away now, with his legacy intact.
  4. I don't think he does right now mate, because he's been able to get away with it....but I think that's about to change. The shame that will come with what happens next will be inescapable. Plus, King Power itself is ****ed. His name will be mud
  5. The shame this will bring on Top is will be the only slight consolation of all of this. Look where 'saving face' gets you, Mr Chairman.
  6. I don't believe there's any desire or plan to bring in a manager - we can't afford it for a start. I think the plan is to use Kingy as a human shield for as long as possible, until he walks away. I hope for his own sake, that Kingy is thinking about that already as he is 100% being used as a sacrificial lamb by a truly immoral owner. Top and Jon know this is a massive gamble. They're aware of their truly horrific track record when taking a gamble. They've see the disastrous consequences of their previous gambles....and yet they seem to have to decided to gamble with the club's very existence. Top might be the owner, but no-one has the right to do that. No-one.
  7. Methven makes the good point that we'd likely not be able to afford the Β£5m+ a season it takes to run a Cat 1 academy if we were in League 1. We'd likely have to drop to Cat 2 - so logically, you'd think the quality of players coming through will drop and as you say, those we have already aren't setting the world alight, if we're being brutally honest. So even that strategy is compromised if we go down again.
  8. Obviously there's been some internal strife at Wasserman recently. Maybe no-one has replied to Rudders' '"Can you tell us who our next manager is please?' email as yet. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy0dn4e1njjo Poor old Jon and Top don't know what to do.
  9. The very definition of the term 'blind loyalty' here.
  10. I think you're absolutely right. Which means they haven't learned their lesson at all when it comes to cheap and convenient appointments. They're going to make the same mistake yet again.
  11. People will take the piss, but I agree with you completely in that I think this is all well within realms of possibility. Think about the disaster of the last 3 seasons....and it's been unchecked....things are not going to magically get better.
  12. I completely agree. I've been telling anyone who'll listen, if we go down, it'll be catastrophic for the club. I agree in that I don't think we can or recover from that. Other clubs going down to League 1 don't have the size of loan debt that we do.
  13. Just get a move on, you ****ing imbeciles
  14. Ownership update: Still useless *****
  15. Wordle 1,700 3/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  16. Forest and Spurs are admittedly much more attractive clubs right now, but they had new managers lined up the day after sacking their old manager. Here we are 19 days and 3 games later, seemingly still with no proper plan for a replacement. It's absolutely pathetic. And Top wonders why he's getting abuse.
  17. It feels like sabotage at times. It's beyond incompetence
  18. Of course we ****ing will. These gutless ***** have given up already. Double dipper coming up.
  19. It's becoming inevitable. This team has nothing.
  20. Every. ****ing. Week. I'm so sick of this useless twat. Not even good enough to be a professional.
  21. ****ing ****. **** off, you useless twat
  22. Absolutely no bollocks between them. Pathetic losers
  23. I ****ing hate this team
