I'm a simpleton on all this, so I have a question. It sounds like to me the premier league changed their rules because we made them realise they have holes. At the time, we thought we were in the championship so didn't need to submit our accounts for y24. So at the time we didn't do anything wrong. They change the rules AFTER this so if you're either in the prem or EFL they can charge you. So how can they go back and say you breached the rules when they were applied after the event? Surely that is abuse of power? Changes the rules after the event and then charging us seems flawed to me? Again, this might me being dense, but isn't it like doing 40mph one week, they change the speed limit the following week to 30mph then me getting a speeding ticket for doing 40mph even though that's what the limit was last week? Im not defending the board, they are incompetent to even be in this situation and need to be sacked. Happily be corrected if I'm being utterly dim.

Incompetence breeds incompetent results. This is on the board, on Top for not sorting it out when we were relegated, the short sightedness of how to run things, employing the wrong people, not changing things to make the club sustainable. I do agree however we haven't helped. They wanted a way to target us so we did all we could to help find that target by all the mismanagement of the club. It's an utterly shambolic. But in the same breath, other teams seem to get away with stuff that shouldn't. Football is ran by paperwork, football comes second

As much as I love the man and as much as I think this would be brilliant and would work, let the poor man be. His health comes first and he's really battling hard at the mo. If he was in full health, I'd be all over this. But sadly he's not. But we do need to find the next Pearson to sort this mess out, someone younger with the same attitude. We HAVE to get a new DoF and to get the right manager. If they get it wrong again, we'll be a forgotten club.

We won, yes. But Ayew was poor. Especially in the first half, positioning was awful, he always slows down the play, passes back. He's not a starter, yet Ruud can't see that. There wasn't anything from the midfield and the win painted over the cracks for me. We lost the midfield battles. When our defenders had the ball there wasn't an outlet. Ndidi, Ayew and Soulmate were standing still next to Ipswich players. There were gaps that none were exploiting. Sorry. Ruud isn't the answer.

No, no, no. Today showed me he doesn't have a scooby. We looked lost in midfield, no shape in there or tactic to get out, lineup was wrong and didn't work. Ayew shouldn't be a 10 from the start. So I'm still not convinced. He's only beaten the two relegated sides. Actually, that's a point. Doesn't this improve on Cooper? We need a reset and a manager that can coach and take us into a new era. The next Nigel Pearson. Hard to find, mind.

He should get that as if it wasn't for him and Shakey () he wouldn't have had the career that we all witnessed. He's an absolute legend himself that helped shape the career of another. I love our Nige.

Ruud is the lazy, safe psr option. So I can see this happening. But this isn't the right call. It's stale, it's toxic we need to freshen it up a bit. Board level first.

In some ways yes, but he was a Pep offspring. That's what the club wanted. But granted, it was a risk at the time considering he didn't have much time at his previous job. But for them Will Still is a complete unknown entity to them, so I just don't see us going for him. I'm happy to be processed wrong and they also give him the power to bring in a proper backroom staff. But I still don't think it's us in any shape
