  1. Anyone know a rough price for a replacement remote car key (Fiat 500), and anyone South Leicestershire who can do it? Appreciate it will need programming to the car. Thanks
  2. Daughters car has finally given up ☹️. Looking at cars for up to £4K. Lots of good value cars around that are Cat-N insurance repairs. Any thoughts if these would be OK to buy? Obviously a lot better value than other cars. Not looking at Cat-S (structural). Not too worried about sell in value as she hopes to have if for a few years and it is a cheap-ish car anyway. Any thoughts on Cat-N cars?
  3. Just looked online to see when tickets go on sale - went on sale last Saturday! No email from the club to say they go on sale, and season ticket seats only guaranteed until 5pm tomorrow.
  4. Thanks - will give it a try.
  5. Any mechanics on here? I have a 2017 Mazda CX-5. Just had new rear discs and pads fitted on Friday afternoon. Used the car yesterday (short journey) and a slight ‘burning’ smell. Rear discs were extremely hot, front discs just warm. I did very little braking. Guessing brake calipers are sticking slightly? Garage closed until Monday, but need my car for work. Any suggestions as what I can try myself at home? Thanks
  6. That old chestnut. - Had a barney with the gaffer - out due to illness - Put in a transfer request - out due to illness - Club thinking of selling - out due to illness
  7. I gave my wife a pearl necklace once…..
  8. Just depends on what you need it for - that will determine the type of thing you need. Why do you need to monitor heart rate? Curious as to why an Osteopath has recommended one. Make sure you know why you are monitoring heart rate, and what you are aiming for. No point monitoring it if you don’t k ow what or why you are monitoring it. Do you have a physio / exercise plan? I run fairly regularly, but never monitor heart rate - just use a watch for measuring distance. I do have a friend who uses heart rate for his training regime, but he trains for Ultras!
  9. If you want the most accurate measurement, go for a chest strap (Polar for example). The ones on your wrist give a reasonable judgement, but not as accurate. Depends on what you want to do with a watch. I have used a basic Garmin and has always been great, but only on outdoor runs and walks. I know many people at my running club that use their Garmin for gym work too (mine was a more basic model). If being used for outdoor runs / walks, Garmin also seems to be mush more accurate with the GPS and distances than an Apple Watch.
  10. Its my daughters car - she is still at college, so £ is very tight. I usually go for mid-range tyres, and always a minimum of B rating for grip, whichever price band they are in. Have never bought premium tyres - which I have priced them up, they have often been double the price of mid-range. As long as they have a good grip rating, I have never been too bothered. Having said that, we have just changed the tyres on my wifes Countryman, which she has had from new. The Continental tyres fitted on that did 66,000 miles, which I thought was amazing. She doesnt have a particularly light right foot either!!
  11. I asked my daughter about this last night too. She seems to think there has been 1 in the past (she has watched all versions) and there was a second vote with only those tied up for banishment. (but wasnt 100% sure).
  12. Rear tyres need replacing on my daughters 2011 Mini. They were only changed 10K miles ago (budget tyres). Seems extremely short lifespan, even for budget tyres. She has a black box fitted due to her age, so cannot drive the car hard. Any thoughts? Will be replacing with mid-range tyres.
  13. Still says 12:30 on the BBC and the LCFC.com websites...... Not sure where it has come from.
  14. Not according to the LCFC facebook post at 11am today?
  15. Is this on TV being a 12:30 kick-off? Had a quick look at the tv listings and didnt see it (only the Newcastle game).
  16. Great spatial awareness. Really liked his strength and determination for the 2nd goal.
  17. Thought I read somewhere that all AFCON players had to be made available from 01st Jan.
  18. How on earth is Salah able to play for Liverpool this evening, when we couldn’t play any of our AFCON players.
  19. Poor first half (as for most of the team). Not outstanding in the 2nd half, but didn’t do too much wrong. A few good glimpses. Really think he will improve over the next few months, with a regular starting place in the team.
  20. That aged well 🤣
  21. Good performance. Choudhury MOTM for me. Would like to see Cannon start in place of Daka.
  22. Easy. Didnt need to get out of 2nd gear.
