  1. I think the majority who want to hold the club accountable wouldn’t fall into that bracket, or you’d like to think not!
  2. I know we’ve discussed some kind of action before and being aware of the effect it could have on those on the pitch, plus how watered down it would look with a large number quietly sat on their hands. What about a lock in? It’s easy enough to be able to make your way to that corner at the final whistle, it’s a ball ache for the club with having to steward and police, and a good opportunity to get some attention.
  3. There has been a couple of trials by organisations outside of this country at non-professional tournaments with 25 minute halfs being played with a stop the watch format. Games have been roughly 80 minutes in duration. We know from the figures last year that ball in play time equates to somewhere around 50-55 mins on average across the English leagues so not far off.
  4. I know the feeling! I think I have a 10k PB in me before the end of the year if I can just keep the joints from blowing up.
  5. I think they do and there is a lot of investment in place, it just takes time. There's a few very good young referees coming through who are getting higher profile games, the player to match official pathway has also just launched but again it all takes time and there's no guarantee former players will definitely make better refs.
  6. I get what your saying but the argument as with anything that comes too offside is at what point does a mistake become an obvious mistake. It's completely subjective and immeasurable. The offside technology coming in would have been a great answer but the Premier League have opted for technology that is only going to bring more scrutiny on officials rather than the gold standard system we have seen in the champs league and at the euros.
  7. I'm wanting to start looking at races like this, Belvoir castle is right on my parents door step so will keep my eyes out for next year. 2025 I want to make a big year for my running, with, fingers crossed, no shin splints.
  8. The only fact you've stated is that he's in charge, going down nor with a whimper are close to fact so I'd hold on to your "I told you so".
  9. Hackett takes any opportunity to have a pop, as the former boss of the officials he comes across as bitter.
  10. I'm not saying this isn't the case but where is it clear? Minus a daily express/sun article with no source? Apologies if I have missed something.
  11. It will be discussed on a call early this week if it hasn't been already, apologies are very much private and there won't be any public acknowledgement unless it's mentioned by the club in a press conference or makes it to the monthly VAR sky sports segment they do.
  12. What a player
  13. I pretty much agree with all of this. Witch hunt definitely seems a fair term and those who have spent the international break telling us that we would get turned over at Palace now ignore any positives from yesterdays performance. He got a lot right for me yesterday but he also got bits wrong and to drop 2 points from being 2 up is frustrating but with what I have seen so far I'm not worried. The biggest element for me is the fight and the grit that seems to be back in the team. We've rolled over previously and lacked desire under other managers. That wasn't the case yesterday, it was rather self inflicted and we didn't help ourselves retreating so deep with the lack of attacking options. Facundo should have been on for me with how well he holds on to possession, finds space and draws the foul. Having said that, regardless of whether coady should have been under that pressure or not, he's got to do better. Before the international break many people talked about how big the next 4 games are, follow up next week with 3 points, which I'm confident we will and I think that's a decent enough return heading into Arsenal.
  14. I mean they threw away a 86th minute 2-0 lead at home and lost 3-2 just 2 weeks ago, don't let the facts get in the way of your skewed opinion. Here we go again...
  15. You'll be accused of lacking ambition if you carry on posting like this, there's a certain clique on here who don't like a well thought out opinion.
  16. The state of people on here, we were writ off before the game began, even more doomed and negative with the lineup and now we are holding on for our first win of the season away from home and everyone finds further things to hammer the bloke with, he can't win.
  17. I'm pretty happy with winning 2-0 but tell me more about how right you are...
  18. I have plenty of ambition just more patience than you clowns. I also was very vocal about not taking to Rodgers from the off so take your self inflated ego and shove it where the sun don't shine
  19. Having been on here long enough to know the average footballing IQ of most on here I'll go with the opinion of bloke who's in charge.
  20. The Hull City ownership should be held accountable for some shocking management, to get rid of Rosenoir and put this squad together after last year is inexcusable. Liam Millar the only player who offers anything.
  21. Goes in line with what a number of posters seem to post at the moment taking aim at anyone and everything connected with the club. The Leicester City element of this forum has become somewhat childish and the least enjoyable element of the site.
  22. But we haven't played the rest of the league yet. I think the point is that too many on both sides are making concrete statements based off the first handful of games. I think we will be relatively defensive Saturday away from home, I'd like to think we go all out against Everton, if we don't that's where questions should be asked.
  23. I think the issues run far deeper than Kasey not making an impact, you could put a generational talent in that team and they wouldn't make a difference.
  24. Planning to see as much of the town as we can. We have rented a car and are looking at driving to Ronda, although not sure if the easiest drive. We have to check out at 10am on the last day and flight isn't until 7pm so thinking of exploring Málaga. Open to any recommendations.
  25. Estepona next Thursday for 6 days, can't wait, never been before and the weather today has got me even more ready to go.
