  1. Exactly this. The Foxes Trust have feigned to be asking the club tough questions and seeking accountability on behalf of the fans but are treading on egg shells and falling nicely into line with how the club would like to stage manage everything. They’ve not shared these elusive questions, they’ve been palmed off to a general forum rather than the direct line to power they were offered in the summer and they’re now waiting for the club to send delayed and vague meeting minutes before doing anything. People are talking about Christmas and we’ve heard nothing of note from you @Foxes_Trust. Do something! We have threads on here making cases for our relegation being the most avoidable ever and a squad on the pitch backing that assertion up, and our Supporters Trust have done nothing without a nod from the club. It’s so broken it’s laughable. Expose the club! Have a voice! Piss people off if you need to! And if you lose your cushy access, then so be it. At least you’re representing and fulfilling your purpose. If the club refuse to engage, use your network to publicise that. Have everyone in the football community and FSA know that LCFC don’t engage with their Supporters Trust and are running a regime of secrecy and control that North Korea would admire. The club clearly need the Foxes Trust to satisfy ticked boxes for being the model Premier League club that they aspire to be. So have confidence in constructive tension and have a bloody backbone!
  2. Wow. @Foxes_Trust, I was really hoping that you’d make a difference in holding the club to account on the failures of last season. Unfortunately, I now have to say, having seen this as the output of where this was supposedly discussed, you’re a disgrace. You’re not fit for purpose, you’re not even getting close to achieving your stated aims on your site around fan representation, and at this point you’re part of the problem rather than the solution. Clearly you have no will to drive any change. You have become a social club - pumping out mundane match reports and travel guidance on your website rather than communicating on anything meaningful. You have your privileged access and protecting this is quite clearly your only concern. You’re defunct.
  3. Or maybe they just believe that if those lands are vacated they will be taken by Israel and never get them back?
  4. Oh come on @Foxes_Trust, do better! The club have not given you the direct answers to the questions you asked and palmed you off to a run of the mill Fans forum rather than engaging with you directly as they should be a supporters trust. You previously had a promise to a direct discussion that has been broken. Nevermind the minutes of the FCC being published, publish on your website the full list of questions submitted and the answers the club chose to give on the ones that they actually did. Should you decide to, give the club opportunity to engage direct with you in line with a deadline after which you’ll do this to give them one final opportunity to take you seriously. If you get to the point of publishing that article, share it amongst the supporter trust community to show nationally how LCFC are disregarding their supporters trust, get on BBC Radio Leicester Football Forum to talk about how the club have engaged on this, do an interview with The Fosse Way, guest appear on the Big Strong Leicester Boys podcast, release a joint statement with UFS…. Alternatively, you could just accept that you are defunct, change your stated aims on your website and make peace that you’ll always be in the clubs pocket but be happy with the freebies and access that comes with that. Over to you.
  5. I have been a critic and I have praised when there’s been progress (the new board members for example). I’m doing neither on this issue. I’m just shining a light on it and expecting some accountability from the club and transparency from FT when they’ve asked questions on behalf of the fan base. If the club are not engaging, or kicking the can down the road, it’s something that everyone on this forum and in the fan base should have a) visibility on and b) be concerned about. Some will probably contribute general criticism on this thread and if @Foxes_Trust don’t want to open up that again then they could always start a new thread with an update on just this issue.
  6. Hey @Foxes_Trust, 8 games into the new season and nearly into October, have the club given you answers to those questions you were asking about the failures of last season? If not, what’s your plan to get them and by when?
  7. This lad’s going right to the top. All the biggest teams want to play the kind of style we’re playing at the moment and keepers who are this good with their feet alone are hard to find, let alone ones who can do the other bits of keeping as well. I’d put money on him being at a Man City/Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool or someone big in Europe in 5 years’ time.
  8. Watching the PL from the outside (albeit sparingly this season), it’s an absolute mess. VAR is killing it and the stupid lines they draw all over dodgy still images and questionable frame rates. Leicester getting back up would give me more of an interest in it again, and I would probably watch Match of the Day more than I am doing at the moment, but it’s so far gone it’s beyond repair now. I’ve said it a few times, in the next 20 years I can see supporters in England en masse flocking to non-league. Top tier stadiums will be left full of corporate hospitality and day tripper tourists from the US and Asia etc. Club’s will charge (even more of) a premium for matchday prices knowing their crowd is a conveyor belt of once in a blue moon attendees and our non-league will start to pull several thousand strong attendances.
  9. I went yesterday. Was mainly interested in Texas and Tears For Fears but Texas and Beverly Knight were the standouts for me. Odd demographic. Mainly middle-aged mums letting their hair down and 60-odd year olds sat at the back with their picnic chairs and blankets. Will have been a few bad hangovers as a reminder of the past today for sure. People moaned about the beer prices but having lived in London anything less than, or comparable to, that at a big event doesn’t make me bat an eyelid. They did have the bar system down to a tee though so you could get served very swiftly (and much quicker than a packed bar on a Saturday night in the city). The food options on the other hand were pretty poor. Big queues, was told that there was an hour wait for pizzas after ordering and paid £15 for some poor Indian wrap. Would have to be someone I really wanted to see headlining to tempt me back in another city. If not, I’ll wait until I’m 60+.
  10. Or just make a decision not to rise to it or let it effect you and you’ll not need to worry about it much longer? Chanting “Vichai’s in a box” is pathetic for a) anyone chanting it and b) anyone getting bothered by it
  11. When he loses the ball, he sprints to try and recover it. Great attitude.
