Three games in. New manager. New players. It's going to take some time. That said, Riccy P obviously needs to play and Ndidi should be nowhere near the number 10 position. We're going into the international break with a settled squad. First game back is against Palace who I consider in the same bracket as Fulham, then 5 of the next 6 games are against relegation rivals. We need to not be dropping unnecessary points in those games. I just don't see any point in changing things now. We are set for the season, we now have to be patient. Let's see where we are come the beginning of November. We'll either be right amongst it or cut adrift

It's time for his agent to earn his money. Selling a player is much easier than buying one. We just set a reserve and his agent can place him on the eBay of players. Getting personal terms agreed is more difficult, but we have to just say yes or no. I would think a minimum of £20m, maybe a tad less with suitable add ons. If a couple of clubs or more express an interest, then great as the price goes up. With PSR, we can't sell our best assets at knockdown prices just because he's had a difficult few weeks with a new manager. Faes is an elite level pro with a promising international career ahead of him. Truly elite level sport is utterly cut-throat. You need players who have ambition to put everything to one side to become the very best they can be and a management structure that supports those ambitions and accepts nothing less than the very best from the individuals who they pay millions for every year. Soft and cuddly has it's place but accepting low standards doesn't. Having both at the same time is a disaster. With Seagrave, we have a facility that is capable of a foot in the door with elite level players, but accepting low standards from journeymen ruins it all.

I think it's a fair point. I'm watching 'Turning Point - The War on Terror' on Netflix at the moment (there's also one about the Cold War which I thought was very good). As soon as 9/11 happened, the game changed in a big way.

I think it's fair to say that most of the ones causing the trouble probably have some sort of criminal history. It's not like they've studied immigration policy at home for years and decided enough is enough, and without ever committing a crime before, I'm now going to throw bricks at cops and set hotels alight.

Please don't dress it up as something it's not. These are criminals who see it kick off somewhere and think that they want a piece of the action.

100% this. These knuckle draggers see it as an opportunity to misbehave in a mob and cause damage and have a ruck with the cops. If the price of admission is shouting a few racist remarks, so be it, but their prime motivator is to cause trouble. These aren't protests ffs, just idiots being idiots.

There's no issue with being angry with anything, it's a perfectly normal and healthy emotion to have. The issue is when anger gives way to aggression. They are two different things. People need understand and deal with their anger without losing control.
