Also, no idea why people think it's such a shock about Leeds and Southampton. Leeds had a good first season in the prem then circled the drain, whereas Saints were just doing that for years. The gulf in quality between us and them when we went down was massive, just our awful mentality.

So chuffed for Ipswich. Thought they'd be in the playoff mix but what they've done is incredible. One of my best mates supports them and they just seem like one of those very decent clubs
-
Pathetic. Not even about looking lethargic, they just don't look like they can be arsed. Worrying sign of the mentality. If Faes and Vestergaard are the pairing next year we're straight back down
-
Score in the next couple of mins and we'll win
-
Iheanacho on for Wilf
-
Ergh. Been so poor even accounting for the situation. Vestergaard has got away with it a couple of times today but that is Sunday league defending

These end of the season games are normally my favourite; party atmosphere and sunshine. But this has been dire . Not even like they look hungover, they almost seem nervous
-
Sounds like rubbish to me. Wouldn't be surprised if that stuff happened but I bet the training was bloody hard. Don't think you'd associate laziness or being unfit with a Neil Warnock team!

Mine too. Seems like the most humble and likeable man too. Don't think he fulfilled his potential but what an incredible player and achievements he has had. When he scored against Everton that made me cry because he was the one player who really symbolised the journey we had been on as fans and as a club. There are rightly other players held in higher esteem because of their performances but there's nobody higher in my eyes purely because of everything he represents. Be really interested to see what he does next. Think he'll be a phenomenal coach given his game intelligence but maybe too nice. I look forward to all the comments on here from those people who claim profusely that he's not a legend

Another small sign of the club losing its identity. Appreciate COVID affected it but to announce there was one and then not do it for the one player who's literally been there at our lowest point in history to the highest, is shambolic.
-
Pace not an issue? A player I know if but not much about. Just watched a highlights package and that was the big concern. Plus it's the one league in recent times where you see these amazing stats and then so many players fail in the PL. Seen a bunch of Juve fans say that Illing-Junior isn't very good and very over hyped but you have no idea how accurate that is, especially taking that information from online
-
Ah but you would have learned so much about rocks and stuff (and ironically, nothing to do with countries or where they are )
-
If that's true, amazing. Even better thay it robs Sporting of more money
-
South American?! Can't believe you'd refer to a North American as that you racist b******...
-
Come on. You can't expect the guy to perform without a personal assistant
-
Third kit looks like an old school bag of Doritos
-
Very true. We'd never have been relegated in the first place
-
Shouldn't make assumptions but I have the exact same perception of him as with Andy King in terms of the kind of bloke he is. And guess what, every single person who meets either of those guys says what lovely guys they are. It elevates them above others in terms of legendary/iconic status at this club. Maybe in the minority but thought he was a really great signing at the time, purely because of it being a free transfer. But could never have imagined just how good he'd be. Criminally underrated outside of this club and other posts have highlighted why. So many phenomenal achievements. I always felt that the first CL goal should have been a Vardy, Mahrez even King, but looking back now, I can't think of a more deserving man. What a guy and what a player. Would love for him to have some involvement in the club going forward

Hasn't seen your caption and was going to make a similar comment

Not sure what the first point has to do with what I was responding to? And I'm assuming that second point wasn't aimed at me? I was simply commenting on the general point raised. Didn't say I agreed with it completely and certainly not the timing...

Well that's just not true in the slightest. He's an inherited billionaire who owns the club. Of course he wants to do well but please don't compare his affection for the club to mine or many others on here, it's not remotely close. Not even saying that in a precious way, it's just the reality of the situation. As for the debate on him celebrating, I see both arguments. He does care and it's nice to see that bond with the players but equally should he be celebrating so much (don't forget he's also been in the training ground lapping it up) when from his perspective, the fact we were in this league, in financial trouble etc is a failing on his part? Seems a really nice bloke and I wish nothing but the best for him (including him to completely right the ship) but he needs to show a bit of accountability and humility with regards to the club's failings.
-
He just needs the right kind of luck and to work on his composure in front of goal and he can be one the very best. His decision making for a 19 attacking player is frankly ridiculous. He had a spell where it wasn't great but looks at his assist for Vardy's goal against Soton and even last night; the composure as well. The dip and swerve he puts on his delivery as well is crazy. Manages to dig out crosses with a decent amount of pace on them. The key is making sure that he is decisive with his decision making and that he's not playing games at wing back like some matches! Work real is phenomenal as well which is probably the key thing that gives me hope he won't just be another player of unfulfilled potential
-
Doesn't get everything right but he's very decisive, and he actually plays advantage and calls it back which no refs do these days. Been great when I've seen him several times
-
Looked like Luke Thomas in the crowd there
-
Blimey, this ref actually knows how to play the advantage rule and does it well!
