40 goals this season for Daka

Maybe he vapes. That's what all the cool kids do these days... Apparently
-
I don't think anyone is looking that great but he's shown a really great ability to spin players and get after the opposition, plus a couple of instances of really good strength. The pitch is so 'heavy' that dribbling on it is near impossible.

Pitch is an absolute pudding

Huh? I never said I care about where he lives, you've just inserted that to fit your own narrative. My point was that the idea that further concessions should be made for footballer's who already have it so easy, is a ridiculous argument (very serious life matters aside). He's being asked to do something similar to what most people will have to in their careers. This was also at a time when the team was underperforming and players had been undermining the current manager(s) with their pining for Enzo. And I expect footballers to make sacrifices for all the privileges they get in such a short career whilst they are owned by a football club (a concept that again separates them from most normal people) Also, I've never seen the article/video where RVN told the media that Winks was not in the squad because he refused to stay 1 night. Feel free to correct me if there is something directly from him, or rather, if he was the one leaking the conversation.

Watershed game for Rehan. 150 runs and plenty of wickets in both innings. Batting wise, if he can get a big ton (170+) I think that will get him the seal of approval that he can play solely as a batsman, which makes him an automatic pick as second spinner on all sub continent tours and probably gives him the chance to play as the first choice spinner on occasion, as they know he can back it up with big runs.

The Leics Comms aren't too bad. Not overly stuffy unlike some of the other counties.

I'm not mad on Skipp either but he has proved his capable at this level. Soumare will have that 1 moment when you think he's a world beater and then people forget how crap he is for 5 games. Skipp isn't lazy either though that's hardly a ringing endorsement. Plus we're lumbered with Skipp for the time being.
-
No way. Soumare has absolutely no tactical awarenesses. Can look amazing 1 second but then he's back to completely switching off and being a liability. Soumare has the potential to wow you (in a good way before somebody tries to sneak that joke in!), something that Skipp won't do, but Skipp will be a million times more reliable. Personally, would love to see a new centre mid in who's athletic as that's what we're missing.

RVN was rubbish but how is he in any way to blame for this? Part and parcel of being a pro footballer would be that you are prepared to spend time away from home. These guys do not have normal jobs and if you're paid £80k a week to kick a ball, it is utterly unreasonable to ask for further concessions (and I say that as somebody who's very pro employee flexibility). Even if you want to compare it to a normal job, most normal jobs would have it in their contract that you will be asked to work away from home/days you are not normally contracted to.

Saw some clips of that and it looked absolutely awful. Got guys that have just retired playing against 50 year old pace bowlers. Very weird

One of the first videos of Cifuentes giving instructions to the players in training, and Faes was looking away the whole time. Sums him up really.

Based on what? We've not seen Okoli at this level and limited amounts of Nelson (who always impressed and has had rave reviews from his loan last year). Worth saying that Okoli got into the full Italy squad last year as well. Not doubting they are good enough at this level but we can't really compare with Nelson (properly) or Okoli. Would suggest that Nelson and Okoli are plenty good enough and much younger, so utter pointless to include Faes or Vestergaard in any team.

Independent Football Regulator - An Historic Day For Football

Even a poorly implemented version of this will be better than the shambolic way it is currently run -
Who should be captain next season?
dmayne7 replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Puts him way below Coady. Coady got offered the chance to go back to his club in Wolves. I suspect he was given a slight nudge to take that decision, which he gladly accepted. -
Do we go into this coming season, without any new incoming players?
dmayne7 replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Are you surprised? We haven't even had a manager for a week yet. -
Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
dmayne7 replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
Whoever does it after a day of inactivity, without any news, should be getting an instant ban -
He's just going to be one of those players that certain people hate now because of a really bad patch last season. They won't be able to let it go. Happens all the time.

Maybe it's just a bad remake or my nostalgia blinded me but I bought one of these and it looks so naff in person. Got the original somewhere that sadly got ruined (not that a kids shirt will fit!) and it's so much better quality.
-
Not for me. I want to remember him for the first promotion, the great escape, the PL title, the FA Cup. Not to remember him for 2 promotions that came from the biggest failure in the club's history and probably the worst season respectively.
-
RVN spoke better than either just in terms of his qualities (not playing style) and the general aura. Most people were raving about how we spoke at first but then we all know what that panned out. Marti gets a big tick for talking about his style because even the language shows his flexibility and when he talks about dominating, he means dominating the game and not just the ball (even about trying to score lots). Not comparing football to chess is a win too

Ah, so we've found the person responsible for making our players go missing lasts season. Must be an invisible box in the tunnel so the real ones go to run out on the pitch but it takes them somewhere else and then the Sunday league players emerge from the tunnel. Very clever. Sounds like they've also got Top involved in the disappearing act too

Who? Jonas Wind or Josh Windass...
