Not a cat's chance in hell that Enzo will do it but drop the barely working inverted full-back tactic. Then play a right back as a right back (Ricardo), centre backs as centre backs (Coady) and not as a pound shop Beckenbauer (Faes), play midfield players as midfield players (Wilf) and wingers as wingers, not forever chasing back doing the full backs job because Ricardo and Faes are absent on parade when we lose the ball (Fatawu/Mavadidi). In other words simplify our game and let's play Draughts and not some convoluted Chess game.

Will need a massive arm twist to renew if Enzo is still in charge. Just not enough return for time given up watching his bore fest football home and away.

Fed up even making half hearted excuses for him now. Just a matter of time before our clueless Board get rid…..2 years sounds about par for the course with them!

Takes some sort of genius to keep getting out thought by Managers of relegation threatened teams but to get out thought by a team without a Manager takes the biscuit. Cruel to say but he should be sacked before the plane takes off from Plymouth on the return journey. Enough is enough.

If he can't see that his ridiculous inverted full back experiment isn't working then I'm an Ostrich. Just pick defenders to defend, midfield players to play midfield, and strikers to play up top. We are a fooking shambles week in and week out playing like this. Overplay then concede because we are all over the place. Groundhog Day is every game tyhese days.

Any bets that Plymouth will sit back until we overplay, then break down our right side where the inverted full back won’t be with Faes positioned just inside their half? Just a matter of whether they punish us or not for me.

“We will get better as the season goes on”

Remember years ago Wenger at Arsenal saying that this type of football requires his players to be fitter than the opponents because his players had to work harder to keep the ball. -
Too clever by half football fails again. All that possession against awful sides like Bristol City and Millwall yet can’t score. Deserve everything we get playing like this.

Any decent safe establishments between Bermondsey Tube and the New Den mate? -

Always been okay in the past. Barrowman & Banker turn left outside London Bridge Tube or Wetherspoons Pommelers Rest turn right. Both easy walking distance back to London Bridge Station and both mixed fans (mainly Leicester) the times I've been in recent years. Probably better Real Ale establishments around as well but I'm not qualified to judge those. -

It's only the late trains back into London Bridge that are affected by the overtime ban. Last decent timed train into South Bermondsey is around 5.30pm. -
He clearly doesn’t understand Italian football. Italian played in England maybe but no Italian side would be as reckless as that two minutes before half time.

Ridiculous mistake by Mads but piling in with pet prejudices masked as considered judgement is laughable.

Belated RIP to Steve Harley. Saw Cockney Rebel several times when they were at their original best (Human Menagerie and Psychomodo). Strangely enough, the end could have been written about Top, Susan and Rudkin and our current City plight.

That racket was bloody embarrassing compared to how Ipswich and Leeds did it at the end of their games. Also noticed that Leeds played MOT over the sound system while the player were doing the handshake, not the standard League music every other club seems to use?

Considering all that has happened over the last couple of weeks it's poor that he wasn't in his seat at the Norwich game today. If he had something important already pencilled in then fair enough. If not then it smacks of not having the balls to face his customers.
-
Hopefully, for the Norwich game, everyone will leave their football expert ego's (me included) at home along with their justified disappointments so far, sarcasm, Top and Rudkin bashing, whining and moaning and any other pet baggage of negativity to just get behind the players loud and proud for ninety minutes. Normal business can be resumed at 2.30pm. Not too much to ask is it?

Always remember hearing Jose Mourinho saying that the team in possession is the team in danger, also the team most likely to make a mistake. And Mourinho made a career of exploiting this fact. I'm afraid this is Enzo's Leicester in a nutshell these days. As Leicester supporters we already know this, courtesy of Claudio. "You love the word possession and you love the stats,” Mourinho said, “It is a little bit like the efficiency of players and sometimes you say: ‘The stats say Player B had 92% of efficiency in his passing.’ But the stats don’t say that player only made passes of two metres, they don’t say that the player was a centre-back who only passed to the other centre-back. Or a No 6 who only passed to a No 8. “And the guy that had 65% of efficiency on his pass is the guy that made the assist, is the guy that makes the adept passes, is the guy that makes 60-metre passes to change the direction of the play. So the stats many, many times are like an incredible piece of meat or fish but badly cooked. It doesn’t tell me much. What tells me [much] is the number of goals you score and the number of chances that you create.” Mourinho said that he was open to every style. “It depends on the circumstances, on the opponent, on your players, on your weaknesses, too. When sometimes I see people in the lower divisions trying to play the way the top players do and then make incredible mistakes because they have not enough quality … I just feel that is wrong. I promise you that nobody knows better than I do our own weaknesses.”

He’s lost me after that performance. Think I won’t be the only one either. Madness to keep ploughing on with this system and method of playing.

Soulless tippy tappy football at its most devastating today. Up shit creek without a paddle.
-
Good point that! Got banned in the Seventies as the Authorities thought they could be used as weapons by Hooligans. Remember making one in Woodwork Class as a project at School all those years ago.

Clappers are just another example of the dumbed down society we live in. Imagine someone suggesting this abomination as an aid to atmosphere back in the 70's/80's. They'd be Sectioned.

Hard to disagree. Identity seems to mean keeping the same system and same style whether playing Accrington Stanley or Arsenal. Disappointed that Enzo thought that a back four of Hamza, Faes, Vestergaard and Doyle, playing a high line, was ever going to be anything other than ridiculously exposed to pace. Even more disappointing is that it was pretty clear early on that Chelsea set out to isolate Vestergaard one to one and we seemed to do very little to address that either. Also, Faes and JJ might have done much better with their decision making, which ended with a sending off and a goal conceded, had they not been brainwashed into over playing in what turned out to be stupid situations.
