Totally agree, the sides outside the top 6 should form a breakaway league with the top 6 of championship league, scrap var and go back to EFL rules. If the non 6 sides don't stand up to the premier, the game as we know and love will be lost. We are at critical point in the future of the game. We need to do this, not just for the non top 6 sides in premier, but for football at every level below the premier league before the whole game is turned into a boring farce.

I don't really get ffp, it is meant to safe guard against clubs getting in financial difficultly, but surely we have that covered by king power covering debts. Am I right in think we are debt free technically on the stadium front with KP paying off the debt and if that wasn't the case surely we'd be in a bigger mess ???

I think we gave it a good go, but down to ten the chances of winning none existant. Maybe losing in normal time a good thing, so we can focus on championship now.

If you Hull and you watched tonight game you going to think you can get something out of it, even if you go one nil down, which is a poor reflection of the tactics we are using, that we don't strike fear in any side now, whereas if Ipswich or Leeds were playing them, they'd be bricking it

Most would agree that we have a side more than capable of playing a better than we are, we seem to be making it alot harder than it needs to be. Playing at the back is clearly the tactic of the manager, else he would be telling them to move the ball faster and for the keeper not to piss about at the back, but he doesn't, so it's clearly a style of play they must work on the training ground week in week out. It looks like we going to have to suffer this for the rest of the season. For me end of the season can't come quick enough, it has to be one of most frustrating seasons following Leicester, even the league one season was more enjoyable than this season.

Spot on, it just seems pointless get promoted with this style of football, but feels like it's too late in season to play any other way !

Even though we won, terrible performance, we got lucky there, can't repeat that sort of tactics again, need to kill teams off when you get the chance.

This is just fing ridiculous we play casually throughout the first half and only a one nil lead at HT so Sunderland still in it with nothing to lose and the crowd roaring them on, well done great tactical management there !!!

Isn't just you, seem a few of us here asking the same thing, it isn't as if a one off thing either, seems to have become our adopted style of play !!!

Why do we mess about so much at the back, we're only one nil up, when we move fast forward we look decent, then just slow it down again, its starting to get irritating this style of play to be honest.

I thought it was a better partnership than Faes, Vesty seemed a lot more comfortable yesterday

What an excellent night, it made the stress all pre match worth it, this side has been impressive all competition. We proved we can compete against premier sides plus we should get extra quality players in, I think we will do ok back in the premier.

I'm not saying hoof it up the pitch I'm saying maybe going forward instead of backwards. We did very little in attacking terms second half, we allowed them into the game. In the end we have only ourselves to blame for tonight result.

We don't create enough clear chances that you can put away, look at Southampton they are creating more chances than us currently are and scoring them. This nonsense at the back has cost us yet again, instead of pissing about at the back, ud be better going forward trying to score goals but we just kept going backwards, in the end we paid the price.

Absolutely rubbish tonight, sorry but we have only ourselves to blame, that was pretty poor. It's a joke that a team promoted from league one, make us look bag average on two occasions.
