It's like people have never seen a fvcking org chart before.

About time someone realised this is the way forward. If you want change at your club, organise and get stuck in. Good luck.

Honestly can't be doing with Klopp taking this home, given how much damage his comments about the competition have done over the years. Come on stupid Yanited bastards.

Foul and a red. Erland Johnsen, it wasn't.

All sorts. In Germany, it's taken the form of active protests at games like atmosphere boycotts, refusing to be in the ground for periods of the game, cobbing tennis balls on the pitch etc. Basically it's all about ruining the broadcaster or governing body's product for TV audiences - and it's a tactic that's worked in relation to multiple causes in recent years. Realistically, an en masse boycott just is never going to happen (look at how UFS were treated by their fellow fans at Arsenal in 2016, for example, trying to get people to boycott five minutes of a game) and - as matchgoing fans - cancelling your subscription, if you have one (I personally never have and never will), is futile because you're vastly outnumbered by armchair fans who don't give a shit anyway. Your only recourse is to get organised at games and act. Sadly, England remains one of the few countries going where football fans don't realise that.

Harris is a replacement for Mulder, so they won't play together, but agree other than that.

Can't say too much but think people will be pleased with Pucovski's replacement when it's announced.

MCC were also allowed to bid but backed Middlesex.

Make sure you get to the Gros Islet street party on Friday night!

Believe everyone except Derbyshire and Worcestershire applied in the end, though some will only be doing so because it looks good. Think we're among the more serious bidders.

Yeah, one host nation - same as any other World Cup. Say the four group winners go into two semis and then a final instead of a round robin so each team plays a maximum of four games over say 5/6 weeks? Get that being a host would skew it in their favour but anything could happen in one-off Tests where there's actual jeopardy involved (India the most notable bottlers in those circumstances, as you rightly point out). The other practical option is revamp the Championship into two divisions of six, or three divisions of four, to cut down the time it would take to complete a league tournament - do it over a four-year cycle so it leaves enough room for money-spinning tours that aren't part of the tournament (England in the West Indies, for example). Also change the points system so you get points for overall series rather than individual games - say 7 for a series win, 3 each if a series is drawn and 1 for the losing side if they only lose the series by one game (2-1 or 3-2). Means there's still always something to play for but gives a fairer reflection in a world where hosting longer series isn't always practical for some nations. Yeah. Think it was Ireland involved too - three groups of seven? -
Think all the bids have come from counties. Sadly, yeah. Feels like a stich-up in the making.

Bidding to become a tier one professional women's county. Wise move given how annoyingly often we have to justify our own existence.

Well if you want a daft idea, I actually think a European XI (based at that ground and other suitable venues like Ansterdam) should enter our domestic white ball tournaments. There's been talk of a Minor Counties XI doing so, why not make it a nice round 20 teams involved? -

Needs a revamp. Should be played over the course of 7/8 years and require you to play every other Test nation home and away for a league "season" to be completed. Either that or you do a Test World Cup every few years. You could do 4 groups of 3, played with County Championship-style bonus points available. Group winners would then play each other to decide the winners, and 2nd/3rd placed teams go on to play each other- so everyone gets to play the equivalent of a 5 Test series over the course of the tournament -

There's already talk of both of them going out on loan. As you allude it, it's imperative they (Rehan too) get the right opportunities in winters to come. Grade cricket (or - and it's a rarity - State) in Australia would be a must for 2024/25 I'd say. -

The problem now is how they maintain the momentum into the English summer. Be a struggle to get a gig for their own counties given when Championship games are played. -

Shared by many in England who regularly take the piss out of drums despite spending most of games largely standing in silence themselves and are more arsed about posing for Insta, concourse scenes, getting the badge in, joining in with "football in a library", moaning about the price of half-time pints but still paying for them every fortnight, complaining they "can't even get a bottle cap in!!!" any time they see a picture of pyro online, whining about how much football costs in England while continuing to pay for it, bantering away while their clubs get sportswashed and asset-stripped by the latest billionaire chancer or human rights abuser to dig their claws into the English game. Yeah, I'm not too arsed if those lads are taking the piss out of a drum.

Yep, I get it. As I say, I just find it sad that it *has to* enter into fans' way of thinking. I personally think showing a desire to win trophies is always an important marker for your ambitions, no matter how you're faring in the league. In the short term, it's great for squad morale but bigger picture it also helps with future recruitment.
