It's a reflection of the wider interest in the club tbh. Like people have said, a huge amount of people are only going at the moment to keep or try to get a season ticket, in the vain hope that we somehow become the club we were between 2016-2022 again. That factor isn't in play for the women's team, you can just turn up and pay and not worry if you don't go for the next 6 months, there will be 25,000 empty seats whenever you want to dip back in again.

Went to Wimborne Town vs Taunton Town last weekend, Southern League Premier Division South. Lovely little set up there, recently moved ground after their old one was sold for housing About 750 there, won 3-0. To be fair, as someone who has no ties to the old ground the new one is much better and has seen their average attendance double. Will be back for sure, £14 I thought was OK for step 3 and knowing the cash is much more needed than it is in the Prem for example.

All correct. The stadium will feel a lot different if the expansion is ever completed. Change isn't bad. We've had basically the same layout and the same feel in the ground for 20+ years.

Would suspect that standing outside of the designated areas will be stamped right out to satisfy the requirements of the SGSA approval.

Into the seats vacated by people who want to move into the new standing area. That makes up a significant portion of the people that want to stand in the future. It would take some doing but it's possible.

I should add that the club haven't responded to this or even acknowledged receipt of the document, which contains data, graphics etc. That will be a surprise to everyone I know!
