  1. To this day it seems to make to much sense that we are waiting for Rohl. Everything else just simply wouldn’t make sense.
  2. They go Austria the week after. Not having someone in charge for that is inexcusable and the fans should genuinely speak up about it.
  3. Rumoured to be on around £80k a week at Everton.
  4. Kingy has already ruled this out saying he’s not ready for the job and getting the lads ready for the next manager. Mentioned this to a few fans after the P’boro game.
  5. Is this your opinion or a little tip off? It’s hilarious because the reality is it’s not complicated if they just paid the fee. It’s a cheap manager release fee even at £2.5m considering all his staff are out of contract. If money is that tight take it out of the allocated transfer budget especially with the academy we have. For anyone that says we don’t have any money to spend that’s also daft. We was in a worse position last time we got relegated and spent a ton by championship standards.
  6. Honestly as much of a melt down it would cause, long term I would prefer this and wait for Rohl (cant see it taking longer than two weeks) compared to getting in the likes of Wilder or Dyche.
  7. My point is the limit of posts that trigger it to go hot, seems low.
  8. Why do these threads get hot so quick, gets people excited!
  9. I assumed he was @RedSoxUK can you confirm?
  10. The whole lot needs changing from commercial, footballing side and communications. It’s all a shambles, needs fresh faces with fresh ideas and run it like a business not a social hub where your pals get paid stupid wages with no consequences.
  11. Doesn’t mean it’s an issue could just be waiting for it to come through. Like I say I’m sure @RedSoxUK was taking the piss?
  12. @SecretPro let’s get on the blower to your source for an update mate. I’m struggling here!
  13. Pretty sure he was taking the piss no?
  14. Can’t wait for the day these clowns leave our football club. Sick of King Power FC, Sick of people treating them like gods. I am so grateful for the work Vichai done for us and often wonder how things would have turned out if the disaster had never happened. The sooner Top realises he is destroying everything his father built and sells up or puts it in capable hands the better.
  15. Well that’s solely dependent on the agreement made.
  16. Which agency represent Rohl?
  17. Just hope these recent rumours are to put pressure on Rohl or sheff wed to get things done.
  18. Didn’t he basically confirm Dyche around a week ago?
  19. Don’t worry I didn’t think you was, and it would be fine if you was hahaha. Agree completely.
  20. Dyche was reported to be on around £80k a week at Everton. The salary I put in for him is a significant reduction. Also important to remember Rohl doesn’t have much room for negotiating if he wants an immediate job.
  21. So what does that tell you…. If we go with Dyche that’s because of who they want, not because “he’s the cheaper option”.
  22. One thing that appears to get ignored a lot is the finances behind appointments. Just because you are paying compensation doesn’t mean he’s more expensive. Within football, incomings are often viewed from a total package… initial cost, and wages across the entirety of the deal. Let’s give an example: Dyche will probably want around £40,000 - 50,000 a week. On a Three year contract that’ll cost the club £6,240,000 - £7,800,000 in a total package. Rohl will likely want around £20,000 - £25,000 a week. On a three year contract that’ll cost the club £3,120,000 - £3,900,000. You then have to include compensation cost, if we going on the higher end of £2.5m, that’ll bring the total cost across 3 years to £5,600,000 - £6,400,000. Breaking that down to yearly cost for PSR purposes, going on the higher scale of wages and compo for Rohl he would cost £2,133,000 per year. If we compare that to the lower wage scale of £40,000 for Dyche, which would be a significant wage cut from him, that would cost the club £2,080,000 per year. That makes a difference of £53,000 per year. The reality is, the talk of free agents being cheaper is a myth in football. Ultimately, the man who’s appointed will be the man the board thinks is best unless they appoint Kingy.
  23. Anyone watching the game today and still has the conclusion that Dyche is the right man has lost their minds in my opinion.
  24. Genuine question though, If we play a 4-2-3-1 does a box to box midfielder work? Got me wondering where Page would fit in with the first team? He’s looked class.
  25. Anyone know if Cartwright was available for today? Was intrigued to see him.
