Why have they completely got rid of the development squad section on the official site? -

Is Tom Collomosse now the most ITK journo for us? -
Every player has been the managers pick hence half the problem we have today in players like Ayew, DCR and Skipp. The chief scout gets an assignment for example, Cooper’s “premier league experience”. The scout then has a responsibility to draw up a shortlist of players that meet the assignment and are attainable, following that the manager will pick from a shortlist then the DOF will attempt to negotiate a deal. At least from what I’m seeing, the scouts have been given freedom once to search across Europe looking for talent and that was under Maresca. That led to Fatawu (relatively unknown), Hermansen (Relatively unknown), Akgun (Linked with Dortmund now) and Mavididi (Good value in the championship). That’s almost a 50% success rate out of the 9 signings we made, which for targets in the championship is impressive. People need to realise scouts can only make recommendations hence why they move around so often as they feel unheard/ignored.

I could have a gym membership at David Lloyd’s but if I just sit in the hot tub and steam room I’m not gonna gain a six pack am I? Such a stupid argument, it’s very obvious that comes down to training plans and pre-season programmes rather than the whereabouts you’re training at. Seagrave is one of the best training facilities in the world it’s just not being utilised correctly.

Best part is the conclusion was they need to revert back to selling a player each year for big money… who smashed two brain cells together to come up with that then?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
No chance Ruud’s gone to walk and we’ve persuaded him to stay. He’s a manager on the back of 7 straight defeats and if he walks the club aren’t required to pay him off. As much as I think it would the wrong decision to get rid of him now, the owners would jump at the chance for free I feel. -
I pray this is an attempt to reduce the clubs debt to make us a more attractive to sell. I know that’s not the reality though.
-
Appears they are after a centre back on a permanent deal and a winger on loan. I would imagine they are dependent on palace calling Edouard back for us to get a striker in on loan.

Where have these rumours that he’s walked come from? -
Obviously I know it’s funding dependent but I think the most important thing is trying to get it done at the same time with project reset and working together. Sends a clearer message and gets more media coverage making the point stronger.
-
Poor driver will feel high as a kite I massively appreciate people like yourself and project reset taking the initiative to make change happen. Im the least creative person going as well as being poor with my words so not the best person to come up with ideas! I think Chat GPT might become your best friend here!

I think most importantly knowing how delusional the club at the top are, if we aim it at certain players they’ll just take that down as managerial decisions rather than taking accountability. We need to be smart with our messages, make them clear and direct. Finances, managerial merry-go round, broken promises, transfer history etc. I think an open discussion with fans regarding what their problems are with Rudkin, calculating a common theme of around 5 messages and wording them smartly is the way forward.
-
The only thing I will say regarding the messages is I’m not a fan of messages directly aimed at players, for example “who gave De-Cordova Reid a 3 year contract” that’s not his fault he’s just signing the contract the idiot provided him. i know that’s the point of the message but I think it needs to be more direct at the person/people you are aiming it at and not drag players into it.

On the basis of a 4-2-3-1 GK - Stolarczyk, new goalkeeper RB - Coulibaly, Ricardo, JJ CB - Coady, Souttar, Nelson, new centre back LB - Thomas, New left back CDM - Skipp, Hamza, Wilf, New defensive midfielder RW - Fatawu (Would be sold if it wasn’t for the injury), McAteer, Monga CAM - Bilal (Not enough G/A for teams to put up a big fee for him), New attacking midfielder, Golding LW - Mavididi, De-Cordova Reid, Alves ST - Daka, New striker needed, Nathan Opoku (Emergency back up) Sold/Loaned/Released: • Hermansen £40m (£3.6m left on the books come summer) • Iversen (Contract expired) • Ward (Contract expired) • Faes £12m (£6m left on the books, come summer) • Vestegaard (Loan) • Okoli £15m (£10.5m left on the books come, come summer) • Kristensen £10m (£10m left on books come summer, so balances the books) • Soumare £15m (£3.4m left on the books come summer) • Winks £8m (£3.3m left on books come summer) • Ayew (Loan) • Vardy (Retired) Total raised £100m, once the books have been balanced will leave you a profit of £63.2m prior to any spending on potential signings. In: 6 signings. Following relegation last time around the club raised around £54.5m profit from transfer fee’s and still failed to comply with PSR. I would say around £65m (minimum) is required to be met from a net profit perspective, therefore expect the majority of signings to be loan signings. In short form, the club is fvcked if we go down and I hope it puts into perspective for those doubting how badly we have been run and how much of a missed opportunity to put things right this season has been. It also further states the importance of signing players now who will likely to stay at the club if we get relegated but may not be attainable with championship status, ensuring it falls under this years books not next years. Loan signings this season hinder us massively long term if we still get relegated regardless.
-
Huge point. I’ve stated elsewhere now isn’t the time to think about relationships. Change is needed, we are losing our football club at a rapid pace! People need to grow a backbone and do what’s right for our football club. Honestly getting sick and tired of this walking on egg shells approach, it’s pathetic.
-
In our defence with Bassey, we wanted to convert him into a centre back but he wanted a future as a left back, which never happened. So we actually identified the right thing with him.
-
Anyone going to give any explanation for this?

Genuinely don’t understand why the overlapping wingback has gone out of the window! It’s so effective and creates overloads you can’t deal with. It seems the only teams that still do it are Liverpool and Villa…. Working well for them! -
People forget we are a one club city too. In the UK it’s not really spoke about much but from an investors perspective it’s a very attractive proposition. Only 6 teams in the premier league are single club cities… Us, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Brighton, Wolverhampton and Southampton.
