We need more actual leaders within this squad. That doesn’t necessarily mean older players but losing Vardy leaves us with Ricky, Coady (questionable) then who? Brannagan does set that, 2 year contract and depth I would be happy with this personally.
-
Good work, with a spreadsheet already created, keep it going with transfers as they come in as it’s handy to know! Only suggestion I would have is, include a column which states total expenditure per year.

Correct, for the club to announce a future pro contract is included, means that the contract he signed will have that within the details. Meaning he is essentially on a pro contract from now. Should any team sign Monga whilst he’s a scholar a deal wouldn’t be confirmed until he rolls into the professional contract with it being the start of a new season. If that makes sense? -

I wouldn’t be surprised if his wages on the pro deal are slightly higher also to make up for the first year as a scholar. -

Credit for their development as players? Or credit for getting them signed to new contracts? Because if you’re referencing the first he has nothing to do with it, & if you’re referencing the second then why does he deserve credit for the basic requirement of his job? Sign future talent and keep them at the club. The fact we even make statements like your post tells you how awful he is at his job. -
More to the point whether people like him or not, Ruud is the main reason Monga stayed. The way he’s managed his minutes, looked out for his education and told him how important he is to the club. Our board would have sat in silence and assumed he knows.
-
Did we actually just make a smart business move? Wait to see how he performs as a no.1 and revisit a contract extension at the end of the season dependent on performance? Im shocked.
-
God forbid it’s Dyche, I respect his CV but the games moved on and he refuses to adapt with it.
-
He’s not daft tho as much negativity as there is around us, the last championship manager we had got a gig with a top 7 club, and we are still one of the favourites for promotion. So if you can’t get a job In the top flight, a club like ours is the next best opportunity.
-
Out of curiosity, as a championship club would you take Frank Lampard?
-
The owners playing dirty tactics with regards to his future despite knowing he wants out so he’s doing the same in return. Personally I don’t think you can blame the guy.
-
£3.4m I have it at.
-
So it appears we are going to be shopping in the free agent market. I think the positions that could be invested in this summer are - Back up keeper - Centre back - Left back - Holding midfielder - Attacking midfielder - Striker Anyone got their eye on a few players that are freebies in those positions?
-
If we can sell Vesty, Coady & Faes then we’ve had a miracle window. Sign Mepham and Darling as free agents and it’ll leave you Mepham, Darling, Okoli, Nelson & Souttar Instant improvement for no cost, sadly I can’t see Vesty leaving.
-
45% wage cut do you mean?
-
Out of curiosity where did you get these figures from? I did similar around a month ago but have quiet a few differences to yours? Hermansen - £3.9m on the books Faes - £6m on the books Okoli - £10.4m on the books Coady - £2.8m on the books Kristensen - £8.5m on the books Soumare - £3.4m on the books Skipp - £16m on the books Winks - £3.3m on the books El Khannous - £15.75m on the books Mavididi - £3.8m on the books Fatawu - £11.2m on the books Ayew - £2.5m on the books Daka - £4.6m on the books paying £40m annually on fee’s.
-
Odd if true as if I’m correct his book value is £10.4m?
-
From a financial perspective we need him to!
-
Had many dealings with him when he was academy director, absolute tool back then. Not many had a good word to say about him apart from the parents who bowed down to him. He hated any player or parent questioning any decisions he made and would give special treatment to the ones who again bowed down to him. Sound familiar?

Is he right or left footed? -
This is gorgeous

The real question is, what decision did you make?
