His question was “you said you wanted a number 10 OR someone who can play in the three behind the striker are we any closer” to which Cooper replied with “I hope we are close, but I also thought that last week but it didn’t happen so who knows” In a nutshell Cooper didn’t say we are close to signing a number 10 specifically at all.

He’s not even a youngster no more he’s 25 years old and had a decent run of about 5 games! Genuinely think he’s massively over rated never really rated him.

For me I actually think Skipp is a good signing and will form a good partnership with Winks. My problem stems from the desperate need for attacking reinforcements, if we have just spent the majority of the budget on a defensive midfielder, then that’s concerning.

100%. The scariest thing is that Rudkin is the main point of contact regarding anything involving finances with the club when it comes to the manager. Being lied to about finances would also have been on Rudkin.
