From a midfield perspective I wouldn’t be surprised if we target the free agent market, then use any cash to bolster the defence and forwards. For me personally, Barkley, Sensei and O’Hare give you a lot more depth and creativity in there at no cost.

Wouldn’t mind this as a free signing. The No.8/10 role needs 2 more additions on top of extending Wilf and potentially replacing KDH. Means 3 central attacking midfielders would be needed if KDH leaves. O’Hare as a rotational player will do a job, also feel we lack players that are more natural in the attacking midfield role.

Problem is they’ll use one of their own loop holes to fvck us. It’s like that manager who makes it seem there listening but then makes your life hell for the rest of your time for challenging them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s signing him for competition for the no.8 role in the championship, but if we get promoted he’ll provide competition to Winks in that Cdm role and we will sign someone else for the no.8 role. Good signing in terms of versatility and ability, like others have stated the only thing that concerns me is his availability. Replacing Casadei who’s been reliable from an injury perspective with someone who’s injury prone is concerning. Overall, at the price being paid it’s a low risk signing.

Would happily raid Scandinavia for Gronbaek and Nanasi!
