I think the problem is in a player like Soule, the club might feel they are covering two positions of need (right winger, CAM) in one player.

It’s a shame that when we get to the premier league, they seem scared to make these types of moves incase they don’t work out.

Truthfully, I think right now Cooper wants to have a look at everyone and has probably requested for no one to be sold until he decides who he wants. I think around 3/4 weeks into pre season we will see players being linked elsewhere if not sooner.

No obviously not just saying what I know the process used to be in the past for new signings so he May have been at KP for the paperwork element? Weird if so now that they have Seagrave.

I know in the past they’ve completed the legal documentation at KP followed by a tour. Not sure if that’s still the case since Seagrave has been built.

For me that’s why the next man has to be Eddie Howe, he plays an aggressive attacking football with a high press, he’s English, he’s good from a PR perspective and he’s young who will continue to build this relationship Gareth has built with the players.

With the possibility of England getting a new gaffer in charge, it’s likely they’ll see us through to the 2030 World Cup which got me thinking from the knowledge we currently have of players, what would our top 5 players be in each position for that tournament. My thoughts exactly. For others worried about the fee, the way I’m looking at it is £30m received for KDH and £30m spent on Soule.

Works out around £49k a week in wages. Sensible.

Anyone got any suggestions for fanzone type places to watch the final?
