Last time we played MK Dons in League 1, I couldn’t get a ticket in the away end but my nephew managed to get me a ticket in the home end. Because I was not among “friends” I kept my mouth shut, that is until Max Gradel banged in an equaliser in stoppage time. When it went in nearly all of the stand jumped up and cheered. Wondering if the same thing might happen this time ?

The home game on Sunday 22nd May will see Alan Birchenall make his 40th (and final) charity run. The charity this year is the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. We are looking for collectors on the day so if you think you could help with this, please email me at [email protected] The collectors will get a ticket to the game as thanks for helping raise money for this very worthy cause. You would need to be at the ground 2 hours before the kick off

I spoke to Birch this morning on the phone just to see how he is. He came out of the heart unit at Glenfield on Sunday and is now recovering at home. He was most concerned with the fact that he missed the last 2 goals!

During the fantastic season of 2015/16, we were playing Newcastle at home and it was Rafa Benitez’s first game in charge. When City went 1-0 up, my son and I started the chant “You’re getting sacked in the morning”. Soon the whole ground was singing it and even Rafa was having a laugh about it

Many thanks to the City fans who donated at QPR on Saturday. We raised £149, half of which went to the Foxes Foundation and half to the QPR foundation . We got to meet our chairman as well.

Some City fans will have seen our replica FA Cup at the Burton Albion game yesterday. Many fans from both clubs came along a generously donated to The Foxes Foundation and also to the Burton Albion Community Trust which does great work in the Burton area. We raised over £180 which was split 50/50 between the two trusts. We just wanted to say thank you to everybody that donated. Lots of kids ( and their dad’s) had their photo taken including one boy who was attending his first ever game. We hope to have the cup at the QPR game outside the away end.

So proud of him.
