  1. Been watching this last few nights, love it! Very gripping and not something I'd usually watch.
  2. England, Scotland, Wales,Northern Ireland Italy Spain Germany
  3. I’m having an Indian tonight.
  4. I actually feel sorry for Marsch and wish him all the best coming into this job, should he take the opportunity.
  5. I'm dusting off my stetson as we speak...
  6. I'm pretty confident the Birch could beat Soumare in one of his annual runs. Terrible line up and asking to be relegated, hope i'm wrong though.
  7. Ryan Smith, looked a class above until falling out with Levein. On loan from Arsenal.
  8. Lack of discipline on a yellow, just needed to stand off Young instead of charging in. Cost us in the end but from his Twitter post it seems he knows that.
  9. Looking like a mid-table season for Shepshed, just need more steel in the team and experience. Coalville are looking brilliant at the moment and deserve to go up.
  10. I honestly don't know who will come in and wave a magic wand to get us out of this. It seems everything is going against us and time is running out.
  11. Pretty much how I think its going. Attendances are climbing in non-league and there's a sense of how football used to be about it all. I can rock up to a pub/clubhouse for a reasonably priced pint (£3.50 San Miguel Saturday at Halesowen!) with no hint of trouble, take the family along, get in for a fair price and enjoy a good game of football with no VAR and better food than I ever had in the Premier League/Championship.
  12. Had a great day at Halesowen watching Shepshed yesterday. Solid performance and against a good side. Great atmosphere in the shed end with an attendance of 1,028!
  13. Off to Halesowen away tomorrow with Shepshed.
  14. Didn't look up for it from minute one. Hard to believe that team contained players trying to stake a claim for a regular place in the side. No desire whatsoever and some should never be seen in a Leicester shirt again. Credit to Blackburn, they wanted it more and good luck to them. Embarrassing from our lot.
  15. Non league has the best food.
  16. Im old enough to remember Andy from Long Eaton, the O.G.
  17. Wanted him to start and he's delivered. Delighted for him. Hopefully this is the start of a good run of form for him.
  18. I really wish we'd gone for Leno in the summer on a free.
  19. Just finished the book and in parts it made for interesting reading with the occasional funny anecdote but it’s just very matter of fact for a lot of it. Would have obviously liked more detail on his time here but we didn’t make much of a filling between the forest-celtic sandwich of paragraphs. Still love the guy so it’s a 7/10 from me.
  20. Thank you Deb I think because we have only recently began an Etsy account its taking a while to work us up the search listings. Through Facebook though should be easy enough and there's a link on our main page to the shop. We would really appreciate any purchases or recommendations to others, anything is a real help at the moment to give us a great start
  21. I've taken the plunge and started my own business along with my wife. We're selling sweet boxes online which hopefully will grow into other gifts/items in boxes depending on how things go. Would really appreciate the support of everyone on here, it's even got a nice little fox logo on our badge - We are called The Leicestershire Box Company. I won't add links on the forum for fear of spam but if you fancy a look we are on Facebook currently with an Etsy store and our main website will be live in the next few days. Feel free to DM if there are any problems finding us through Facebook. Exciting times indeed! (Can't tell you how much fun the taste testing was! )
  22. Des Lynam George W Bush Billy Connolly William Roache Joe Pesci Under 40: Greta Thunberg
  23. Watched Just Mercy tonight. Hard hitting and emotional but an absolute masterpiece.
  24. I remember visiting a restaurant in Hong Kong that reminded me of our set piece defending "Ho Lee Fook".
  25. Five consecutive red cards for Shepshed now with another today - lost 4-3 to Halesowen at the top of the league but the lads really did play some of the best football so far this season.
