How do you go about getting tickets for the home development squad games? -
Can we leave Vestergaard there?
-
How we’re winning this god only knows, Randers need more banjo practice with that cows arse. Terrible finishing.

I’d imagine it’d be an eBay job or lucky dip at a car boot

Many happy memories of Bernie from when I began going to the matches in the mid 90’s. One of the best was on the train with Leeds fans and Bernie drunkenly naming random things from Yorkshire winding them up “Last of the summer wine, heartbeat, toffee apples” 😂 Used to see him in Morrisons with his sister and she was even more mental than he was! Blackburn away in the FA cup quarter final with him standing in a pile of horse shit from the police horses and someone made it into a t-shirt with the slogan “we’re in it together”. RIP Bernie

Were you ever at a game when we were relegated?
Durnerz replied to ceredigion's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was at the Man Utd 01/02 game. It really was a huge ask to win on the day but we did put in a great effort. The fans were exceptional that day and the energy carried into the new stadium and helped us bounce back. -
Huge respect for going through all of that, so pleased it was worth it! Can't say that i'll be visiting Russia anytime soon.

Starbucks ground coffee is my weapon of choice at the moment.

You get kids on Vespas either mugging people or using knives. I just wouldn’t risk is, especially as an English side.

Watch yourself if you’re heading to Napoli away. Very dangerous stadium, been before and it was rough.

Flights to Bilbao are always so cheap as well which is brilliant given what a great part of the world it is. I find it a nice city, just right for a couple of days but can stay longer in San Sebastian.

Good places to eat in rural NE Leicestershire

Tap and Run Upper Broughton is very good. -
I love San Sebastián and the Basque Country. Food, beach and people are fantastic. La concha rivals Copacabana in my opinion.
-
Paris. Lots of people hate it but it just has that magic about it for me. Love the food, history, architecture and lifestyle there.

Drove in Birmingham city centre yesterday…always a pleasure! It seems as though the layout isn’t hard enough already so they decide to close off a load of roads and add diversions. I hated it. Also lately on dual carriageways and motorways I seem to get a lot of people hover in my blind spot…why? Just overtake if you’re going to. Without a shoulder check you can’t see these idiots.

Yesterdays stage was a lot of fun to watch but can't see anyone coming near Pogacar. The guy just hits the gas when he feels like it, epic cyclist. I did have money on Van Der Poel but just a cheeky quid, thank god as he pulled out!

Sounds a bit Sevilla…

What Foods from Childhood Did You Despise That You Now Love?

Fish, carrots, broccoli are the main ones. I grew up in the 'freezer generation' so freshly made food was only really sunday roasts and fry ups due to having parents working long hours during the week. Amazing to think of the range of foods I love now. -
Martin Allen Reign.... well the short spell it was.

Not bad at all. If I remember rightly some of our fans had written to Mandaric to ask for his investment into the club in the days when we were on our backside financially. -

Mandaric wasn't a good chairman but he sure saved us from heading the way of the Bradford City's and Coventry's. We had no money and very little hope of surviving without investment, he then of course sold to the Thai owners and the rest, as they say, is history. Allen wasn't a bad appointment for where we were at the time on paper but we'll never know how he could have managed had he been allowed to make his own signings and actually been given time to make his mark. -
I remember being at this game and couldn't work out why it was taking so long for the players to come back out for the second half. Then when the news came through everyone was in shock. Heartless of Mandaric to then sack Martin Allen the next day.
