  1. What shops sell a good range of wallpaper? Homebase, anywhere else? Preferably stores of the out of town shopping centre variety.
  2. Sounds like the Rincey wincey wife ken has always wanted Set them up on a blind date Shabadoo
  3. Doesn't help when the characters are as terrible as Abraham, he's like a caricature of Buzz Lightyear. His sidekick Eugene is even worse. The only new characters I've liked since season two are Sasha and rosita and that's based purely on physical attractiveness.
  4. If you're not going to respond to people who challenge your views then what is the point of this thread, exactly? You've also ignored the interesting parts of that article and focused narrowly on what suits your view the best. What a poor way to reach conclusions about something that's apparently so important to you. I think we can all see by now that the arguments in favour of vegetarianism are as flimsy and limp wristed as the people who espouse them, maybe it's time to close the thread and get on with eating tasty animals and releasing cats held in captivity.
  5. Said nobody who has ever gone properly travelling, ever
  6. Am I seriously expected to believe that all the software on my phone has naturally started to slow down coincidentally in the very same week that EE starting sending me upgrade offers?
  7. Interesting look at plants here, it seems they have a form of consciousness and intelligence, perhaps even emotions and the ability to fear and feel pain. www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-34849374 It of course begs a question over whether or not human beings should be killing plants for our own enjoyment and if not, what else can we eat?
  8. Most employment contracts have clauses about confidential information. Under one such clause I doubt it would matter that you've seen the document accidentally, what you subsequently did with the information learned would be a misuse of confidential information. However, if your contract is one page long and they're inventing other reasons for the sacking it sounds like they've not covered themselves at all. They sound like a bunch of cvnts so good luck pillaging them for all they're worth.
  9. I've watched the first two episodes of this and it seems very low budget and quite cliché to me. The socially awkward kid who is a computer genius has been done to death and that show just takes it to a boring extreme. I can't watch it without groaning at how tacky it all is. Quite a shame because the plot had great potential.
  10. Thanks mate, might have a watch of that. Sheridan plays quite a downbeat role in Stanford but he gets plenty of screen time.
  11. While we're on the subject I'm not keen on the lack of borders. No good for people who want to print. Personally I always off tick the gridlines and manually enter borders wherever they're needed, always in middle grey.
  12. Yeah text wrapping is what I meant. Don't know why I said merge cells, that would be pointless. Just text wrap and adjust the row height.
  13. The Stanford Prison Experiment Quite interesting 7.05/10
  14. D5/D6 and F5/F6 really should be merged cells. Can't stand it when people write sentences in different cells. What if you want to copy the text!?
  15. Undercover police officers will be prosecuted if they enter into a sexuality relationship with a target, "even if they believed it was necessary in a life and death situation". In other words it would be preferable that the male police officer is killed as long as the woman is protected from her own choice to have sex with him. Bonkers. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34875197
  16. Never mind objectivist dualities, anyone know where I can find a list of 21 things U only know if U live in Cumbria?
  17. One of the blokes at work wears transition lenses and he reckons they go dark when he's driving down a busy motorway in the dark nowadays. I don't know if people have full beams on a lot but headlights definitely seem to have got brighter and less standardised. It's quite dangerous really.
  18. Such a shitty series so far. The great thing about TWD has been that it constantly brings on the action. These character development episodes are shite. Just give me the action.
  19. I got the worst food poisoning I've ever had from a pizza eaten the next day. But it was a hot mid summer day probably 30c+ at home and I ate the pizza at about 7pm after buying it at somewhere between 3am and 6am. Otherwise I've been fine eating pizzas next day.
  20. They're pretty crap at protecting themselves but fire doesn't seem to kill them very effectively. They'd be better off finding a few excavators (there must be plenty around) and digging an empty moat around where they want to stay. Zombies would just fall into it and get trapped. A couple of drawbridges and periodic clearing of the moat and you'd be set.
  21. When the only indication of what lane you're supposed to be in at a bespoke junction are arrows painted on the road itself. Some questions: How am I supposed to see the arrows when they're covered by something, like say the car in front? How am I supposed to see the arrows when it's dark and raining and the road is all patchy reflections of people's break lights in puddles? How am I supposed to see the arrows when I'm concentrating on not crashing into the car in front? How am I supposed to see the arrows when the paint hasn't been renewed for ten years?
  22. So is anyone going to post any interesting news topics today or is it all going to be shambolic political propaganda?
  23. Do it like this
  24. tincy rincy
  25. Oh no but then it's going to smell at their new place too
