Leicester City To Wear Leicester Hospitals Charity Shirts
LCFCCKEANO replied to jammie82uk's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nice gesture but I can’t help but agree with this^. Feels like a massive PR move albeit should still be praised, if it wasn’t, as was said above it would’ve been on the kits when they were blank. As a side note, if the youngsters can wear this sponsor, is there any scope for us leaving it on the younger players kits for the year. Obviously different to the main but so is the blank kit? -
I could give a good few examples of recent patterns of purchases, going back 2/3 years which I think we are now seeing the product of- Ivanovic at Millwall, Heggebo at West Brom, Irankunda at Watford, Vipotnik at Swansea all having massive impacts, and you have prem teams letting better players leave as more money arrives, such as Crama, and have better players at worse teams, as an example, two of Ipswich most impactful attackers last time we went up are now at Wrexham and Portsmouth. And the relegated clubs have done way better business, and two of the promoted sides are immediately as rich as anyone in the lower prem- last time it was Oxford, Plymouth and Ipswich(Charlton as the other are lower mid table and clearly better than Plymouth or Oxford were). Check my posts, last time we were here I said it was crap because it was. I think you are more willing to bash the league to further undermine what a crap year we have had which is unnecessary as both can be true, we should still be doing better than we are

Nelson was off the back of a League 2 loan the enzo year, Nick Pope went from Bury to Charlton to Newcastle, Stolarczyk was Hartlepool, Mings went from non league to starting for Ipswich, others too. It is rare because of the standard drop but if a player(JJ, Braybrooke) is the best player on the pitch every week all you know for certain is that they are at least worth playing a division below, and with both of them, the way they play wouldn’t be massively affected by the leap in my opinion, Braybrooke was always whether he could physically compete which he is showing he can, Joseph we will wait and see but he has all the tools -
This all over. In the two years since we were last here the recruitment is so so much better, so many examples of that in the summer, so much more creativity. Teams are realising the best value is in Scandinavia/Eastern Europe and there has been a crazy influx, the league is so much better than it was

Think the Winks rumour indicates his agent or the club are shopping him actively, seeing as the article specifically says it could lead to a move. Out of them all him and Faes are the two I can see happening in January
-
Begovic Choudhury Nelson(if injured Skipp) Souttar(if injured Skipp or Vestegaard) Thomas Skipp(if at CB Winks) James Fatawu Monga Mavididi Reid
-
Having said that, Joseph is now proven in men’s senior footy whilst Aluko is not, would not be mad at Joseph being recalled and loaning Aluko somewhere, think it would massively benefit him
-
To be fair I did not take into account Aluko int hat statement, moreso the other useless lot
-
If his form keeps up I see no reason not to bring him into the first team fold, did similar with McAteer and Nelson straight out of L2 a couple years ago, and it really couldn’t be better timing for him considering the absolute state of our full backs, if he can stay fit (Ricardo) and not be outright stupid (the rest of them) he’s instantly our best full back
-
Don’t disagree with any of what you have said but tbf Silko Thomas is also from the academy
-
Why would he be involved at all at 16(?) if he was off? Swear people said the same of Evans not being involved then he signed a contract and was still not involved, maybe he is just 16 as raw as ****
-
Willing to admit I was one of them; I really did think the players and money in the squad is way too much for a relegation scrap and I still do, but this feels eerily similar to the prem season 3 years back when this all started. Sleepwalking towards it again

If we can name more than 5 clear cut chances we have created via good build up play I will happily backtrack. We have no attacking gameplan whatsoever. With Enzo we had midfielders underlapping and making spaces, which sometimes left us open but led to a lot of goals. We are playing enzo ball without any of the risk, which is essentially nothing keep ball at that point, this is a bad squad but it is a playoff side at worst and should not be in 14th in Mid November. We are behind John Eustace’s Derby, we are behind Nathan Jones’ Charlton, behind Stoker with Robins, behind Milwall with Rowett, behind Watford who sacked their manager. Would you take any of the above managers, and would you take performance that caused Watford to sack a manager

Loss or draw with 3 SoT -
If this was us even during the Enzo saga we would be asking for Doyle next week, he is garbage and Kristiansen is worse. How far are we from a back 4 entirely of centre halves

It’s not a nice thing to say or hear but realistically there is no way to get rid of a nepotistic man child with no idea with how to do anything well, evidenced by his life, actually look into anything he has touched, it turns to shit and he is a cockroach who won’t leave. Think we are stuck with this until admin or death unfortunately, as king power continues to collapse with this moron in charge. We have become a passion project for potentially the richest ****ing moron in the world
-
Diabolical, he professes an attacking style where we go after a lead and make it more, we all saw the reality tonight. No attacking game plan, pure vibes, shoot him into the ****ing sun

First time for everything, 4-0 -
Has to go, today was an embarrassment, down to ten men in extra time and we are clinging on, are you having a ****ing laugh
-
He has started Page/Monga multiple times and brought them off of the bench, and we are in October. As the dust cloud continues to settle and he finds an eleven, more opportunities will become available, I wouldn’t be throwing a 17 year old into the atmosphere around the place at the moment unless I knew they were more than good enough
-
This basically, on the outside good news but if Rudkin doesn’t go next it just means that those two won’t have any more contrary opinions in the club. She was from all the reports the least problematic of the 3 and seems to have been the only one willing to argue back, as incompetent as they have all been
-
Don’t disagree, think in an ideal world aka that Norwich year it was his game, I can’t understand how because he doesn’t look unfit just completely incapable
-
Stolarczyk Ricardo Faes Okoli VK(genuinely don’t care if it’s Thomas though) Winks James Fatawu Reid Monga Daka Stephy/Ramsey off the bench. Aluko on the bench and on if we get a decent lead, bleed him in, hopefully by the middle of the season he may be ready to start
-
Only strength is pressing/running and constantly over presses and gets turned out, I truly don’t see how he was Norwich’s player of the year in a year they went up, baffling, he is either completely shot of confidence or totally crap, either way he should be buried in the pecking order for a while until he gets it sorted, comfortably or worst player on a night where Bobby Reid looked good
