We won’t loan Skipp out I don’t think, we don’t have another player who plays that 6 role Martin likes, the Downes role. A lot of clamour for Braybrooke but I think he is too small and weak to be in that role, and Choudhury isn’t technically good enough, Martin seems to be using both as 8’s. Reckon him, Souttar and Nelson will be our big wage players next season unless Sheffield Utd stump up the entire fee for Souttar.

I’d be willing to bet a good amount of money that this isn’t going to be our ‘big’ attacking signing. It’s not a coincidence that we started on frees, then loans, then small money purchases, think we are working our way up as we make more sales. Think our biggest signings will be from the last two weeks of the window

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links

Probably be Harry Amass from United -
Agreed, think we are doing the ‘cheaper’ striker signing now, I’d imagine with the thought that our most expensive signing will be another one, and then will tie up all of our other business before we splooge the rest of our budget on a striker. For now, just have a functional 9 and another half 9 for the start of August in Cullen and Bristric just to get us through the first few, it would be sensible
-
Honestly Wilder has done them no favours here, he has out massive pressure on their board to put the signing through and has specifically named their CEO as negotiating it. Our price should go up a couple million just on that basis alone, it’s gonna look really bad on their ceo if they can’t sign a league one centre half and their fans are already seemingly running out of patience a bit
-
If we take Bristric as gospel, for me, I would like another out and out 9, ideally someone who is a certainty for 10/15 goals if Bristric is a flop, and then one more winger, then just replace exits, I think if we get the deal over the line we are arguably in the best position in a window that we have been in in a long long time

You’re forgetting the obvious, cmon, Leon Crncic was a cracking talent -
Not arguing with that, purely saying that the financial peril increases the chance of that offer being made, defo could see Martin rejecting it outright
-
Didn’t comment on it being a good or bad deal, just that it is more likely. Have another read mate
-
If they are skint surely it makes the idea of a swap more likely??

If you see him ask him to tell the clubs media team that we don’t need them to spend a day taking pictures of him with that weird flag over his shoulder, put a shirt on him and announce it- cheers -

Backup and release on a free next year is the only way I see this playing out, looked way off the standard against Genoa -
Do this and then flog Faes to whoever will take him and I’m pretty happy with the outgoings this window, gone about as well as could be hoped for sales wise
-
Think this makes it more likely he stays, if it’s a massive serious injury and by the time he’s back we are headed for promotion could see him signing a deal with a release clause, this could scare bigger sides off

I’d be more worried about it where Evans is considering his recent social media stuff, hopefully being loaned and not sold off -

Because our fans now believe that nothing good at all can ever happen and all of our players are worth nothing even if they’ve played at a high level and are young. Think certain people should give it up before they drop dead from the stress and anger, we are all anti KP and Rudkin but honestly the crying from grown men on here is wild -
Tommy Watson - (loan from Brighton, as per Alex Crook)

O’rourke said he did the first half of his medical Thursday, Friday will have been second half and the media team which usually takes a good day, I’m not worried -
Will also add he is maybe the nicest pro footballer going, have never heard a bad word. Apparently Chilwell was a massive nob when he was here though, same family member met him at a wedding
-
I am actually a little itk for once here (waits until I’m wrong) his wife is really close with a member of my family, from what I know they won’t be leaving any time soon unless pushed out, which I doubt would happen

He started well, im pretty convinced if we didn’t have Gary Rowett and his style of play I think he’d have performed a lot better -

Remember as well that Martin plays his winger extremely central, and very tight, the wingbacks are usually his width. Wouldn’t be shocked with an AM 3 of Alves, Chaplin and Cullen got a game at some point -

Fair, at any rate the wage that would be carried over and carrying players not up to standard in the next division is something we have struggled with a lot recently
