  1. Such a weak argument. Hamza wasn’t high on heroin when he was DUI’d, it is still an extremely negative thing to have happened
  2. Think Evans, Carr, Neale, Gray all get loan moves before the end of the window, wouldn’t be shocked with Hutchinson if we can bring in another attacker
  3. I think we’d all like to see a Braybrooke, Page and Chaplin/Cullen midfield, but Martin has avoided using anyone but Skipp and occasionally Neale/Hamza in the 6. It’s flogging a dead horse to keep believing that is going to change in the actual season even though it didn’t throughout what was a fair amount of experimentation and tinkering pre season
  4. Stolarczyk Joseph Okoli Souttar Thomas Skipp Alves Braybrooke Chaplin Watson Cullen Is how I see us starting, think Bristric and Burns off the bench unless Alves/Chaplin are still a bit hurt.
  5. If it is 3 years it really changes how I see this. Max two with the option for a year, absolute max it should be
  6. Nelson is worth more than 5m to us playing in League one this season even if he leaves on a free. Not selling him for a lowball offer is intelligent, you can’t plan for injuries and as I’ve said before, the more serious it is the more likely it is he signs a new deal, as morbid as that is
  7. The Peterborough owner came out and really slammed that valuation, would be interested to see who is closer to the truth, as he seems to be fairly close to the club so could be fluffing us up a bit
  8. Reckon we will get an experienced centre back if we sell Souttar and Faes but that aside I agree, unless it’s a free option with low wages and a short deal as a see me through for the season
  9. Might be wrong but think I read somewhere that we do have one
  10. Leicestershire live have mentioned in their latest article we haven’t moved for Adebayo at all. So he’s signed, been offered a contract and we are not interested all at once, which I could believe with our boardroom
  11. Could go wrong and could not, I don’t think our academy lads are all quite as ready as suggested here, some definitely are but some are still very raw. We may not win the league with these signings but we would not win the league with only our academy and 20 year olds from Eastern Europe, as fun as that would be to watch
  12. The same youth we are all apparently expecting to win the league only using? Surely they’d also win the lower league cups by the same logic
  13. I really do not think there is a chance he goes on loan, what would be the point. If we wanted rid we would drop the price tag, clearly people within football see something we do not, as a lot of interest seems to be about for him and we seem to be very deadset on 15m as a price point
  14. So if we sign championship scorers who are experienced it is naff because of the sell on. When we take a chance it is naff because they have no record in a good league. Are we expecting youngsters from top leagues or with records like Haaland?
  15. My prediction is they lose in the playoffs and Tolaj gets a prem move next summer. They are building to something really impressive though
  16. Customers at my work regularly accuse real people of exactly this, and it is roundly found hilarious. People are also able to structure arguments and posts mate
  17. Think day one it’ll be Bristric and Cullen as 9’s and then when we get another Cullen will move back
  18. Think it’s less praise and moreso functionality, the guy was an awful awful signing at the price we paid, and is not going to be someone we keep around for the whole rebuild unless he turns it around massively imo
  19. You know what I think that is a very good point too, and I agree. Maybe overstating the defensive aspect as a pure defensive mid as I haven’t seen him do the lone 6 role with the other midfielders getting really high, which I think will be us this season
  20. Think this is proof that Bristric will not be our only striker of the window
  21. Would also add height doesn’t necessarily = size, and Skipp is far more stocky and physical than Braybrooke, and more similar profile wise to a Flynn Downes
  22. I think Martin has shown what he wants and he wants someone technically astute but also physically able to fight. Braybrooke is a cracking player but I am not sold on him as an outright defensive midfielder and not sure Martin is. Very happy to be proved wrong, if we could have a midfield with Braybrooke and two AM’s and make it work I’d be delighted
  23. He is a better player, but is a different player
  24. For the Flynn Downes role I think he is, and judging by the fact Martin has flat out refused to use him there at all and has used Neale instead shows he clearly feels the same
  25. Think he wants him to stay but understands what 10m could do for us at this level tbh, we could buy two centre halves who could do a job at this level and the championship for that fee
