  1. Noticed this, either has been done for a while and waiting to announce or it’s fallen through
  2. This is a very fair point, I’m hoping he is still a big hard bastard and has brain on him, as his past issues were more down to his technicality in the ball. I’m hoping for a less brain dead but slower Okoli
  3. Could very well be but I don’t judge a player until they have played for us, had plenty of older signings work out very well for us I.e Huth, Morgan, Evans, Cambiasso, as well as some duds. I als don’t like lumping them in together, for me Reid shouldn’t be in the same sentence as the other two, he does try he just isn’t up to it, other two are absolute pony and put in nothing
  4. Different type of player, could absolutely be a crock but he is big, looks to have been quick and suits a back 4, Coady was a back 3 merchant who was good on the ball and vocal. Think even if Lascelles is off the pace at worst he will be able to win headers and knock about the lumps in this league that have been terrorising us I.e Dykes, Kieffer Moore etc
  5. Longer the three deals we currently have in the pipeline take the bigger the concern that we are just waiting on these and plan on nothing more happening
  6. We won’t sell Fatawu after the window is shut and unfortunately unless we pull a striker out of our warden before this evening I think they’ll just let Daka run his contract down
  7. Think the options are untested raw youngsters like Mukasa or guys like him. Have Mukasa in but at least Aribo is a seasoned pro even if he is a bit crap. Will be better than having Page and Choudhury sat deep as a pair if we lose Skipp/James/Mukasa again
  8. Him, Souttar and Nelson are a good first choice 3, Okoli as back up and Vestegaard can leave
  9. Might be wrong but thought he had committed to a contract to be signed when he is 18, thought that meant he was tied onto it
  10. Could swear I saw something saying the initial will be around 4 points and any extra deduction will be for not assisting in the investigation, think it lands between 4-7, don’t think the prem or EFL will want another loud and potentially embarrassing saga here, think they will want something severe but also something that our lot will accept
  11. If we do manage to get a striker in on top of the other 3 I’d be ok with the window, if we by a miracle do a LB and striker it’s a good window and if we do Mads on top of it and Enzo as manager I will make the pilgrimage to the Vatican and thank god for blessing us with a miracle (I’m atheist)
  12. Think Nelson is more likely to go then Monga, he only has 18 months left on his deal, we have Monga tied to a contract so for a buying team it’s less of a bargain to do the deal before he has had a couple of years playing than it would’ve been, could still leave but think we will keep him
  13. Could go for Uche at Palace, has looked good off the bench but they are using Johnson up top whilst Nketiah and Mateta aren’t available. Another could be Osula from Newcastle for similar reasons, or that 18 year old Brentford brought in recently
  14. You’d hope Mukasa and Aribo are all tied up and won’t take much time or effort
  15. Worried that they see Mukasa as the striker
  16. If we are covering his entire wage it’s a silly one, would imagine Southampton would want to get whatever they can from him, if it’s a contribution of say 20/30k until the end of the season with no permanent intention it’s better than nothing, we do need backup
  17. Back up for Skipp/James/Mukasa, means we don’t have to play Page where he isn’t comfortable and Choudhury can rot
  18. Don’t think that means all too much, look at the consistent production, they have players on loan in top leagues and the top 2/3 divisions across Europe, if they kept everyone in house for their 23’s they wouldn’t lose a game
  19. Man City’s U23’s are essentially championship/league one standard throughout, and he is 18 and has played senior minutes for them, should be good enough to actually compete in this league at minimum, I’m happy with it
  20. In the interview he did, he manages to state we got relegated because ‘we didn’t think it could happen’ and then within minutes when asked if we don’t go up this year ‘next year’. It’s the exactly same thing again and he evidently cant see it
  21. 40m+ do it and rebuild now and in the summer; less and just laugh it off and move on
  22. One of the worst websites in the work is the LM, can barely rea da line without a pop up ad, would rather read my left hand
  23. He will get a very mixed reaction, wouldn’t be surprised by audible boos… I completely agree with the sentiment but at the point we are at now it’s worth focusing on the real problem and being as neutral as possible to the players chosen(owners and board are the real issue)
  24. West Brom are ‘very firm favourites’ according to same journo
