Now Martin is out of the picture think it’s more likely Stolarczyk starts anyway, looking at the potential options think we can get away with the distribution, think it will also be less obvious in the championship, he will have a lot more time

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

So illogical to sell players for 40/50m and almost break even on fees then have players in the squad on such massive wages, surely if we learn anything for this summer it’ll be to clear out the big wages and reduce the limit of what we offer going forward -
Chatter seems to have all but disappeared for him and BEK, after that article that said we may not need a firesale. Would be nice to finally have some good news, maybe we can just sell the deadwood to finance our summer
-
Apparently Ipswich and Chelsea negotiating Guiu, Chelsea after 10m… even if they want a buy back of like 30 it would make a lot of sense

I think we don’t know what we are doing yet, sounding out candidates to see if any are better than Ruud and if not keeping him is my guess, doesn’t seem fair on Ruud and doesn’t exactly scream ‘well organised’

Are they dating or something? Think Guillem defo has something for Enzo, going to back to when he was with us. Hope his wife doesn’t have a twitter account
-
Think Evans ends up out wide coming in for the first few years of his career, players his size often have to do that to prove they can play up top at the highest level, like Wissa or Watkins both at Brentford

The 25 / 26 players that will be out of Contract

Think Stolarczyk has to be tied down this summer, Alves is until ‘28 so he’s fine, then I’d consider JJ as he is a good stable back up if we can find a new younger starter next summer when Ricardo goes -
Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official
LCFCCKEANO replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He was awful but can’t see in hindsight why we refused to give him more than around 40 minutes in total in the league, just a terrific waste of money, him+coulibaly would’ve been enough to keep Akgun and we would have a capable backup plan for BEK leaving -
Gonna sound like nonsense but I do know someone who has done some work for him, apparently was made up to be here so wouldn’t be shocked if he stayed. Mind you this was all like 4/5 months ago so who knows where his head is at now
-
Nah because that change was bad for the club, we won’t do anything positive last second, never do
-
We would be up there I’m sure but we would come down even worse than this year if we got up, he’s another Rodgers, fine being the bully against shite but awful against any team as good or better than his
-
Mate is a Wednesday fan and he sounds like we did when we sold Barnes/KDH when it comes to Rohl, sounds sick when it comes up. Having said that I wouldn’t be annoyed at going abroad, just not Russell Martin
-
I’d prefer to either end up second or third and even do another year in the championship then bring in another manager with a style that jsut will not work for us in the prem. Think Top still thinks the squad is prem standard but in reality at best it is relegation fodder standard, need someone who will be flexible tactically and be secure at the back. We have the players to sit deep and counter 100%, we have not got the players to keep the ball against even the bottom half teams in the prem. This would be another example of the delusion we have at board level

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
LCFCCKEANO replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
Rohl in and a back three of Okoli/Nelson/Souttar either side of Coady is a very good championship defences, get Mepham in on a free as cover if Sunderland don’t and then focus on the midfield and mostly up front -

I’d pay 3.5 million to start with 5-10 extra points next year without a question. We have enough sellable assets coming back from loan or within the squad to cover that -
Think we can say a ‘big 5’ of the three relegated teams, Brum and Sheffield United does seem likely. Think depending on a point deduction for us, that us and Ipswich should be the best of the 5, with a deduction that race for 2nd could be very interesting

Guess the aim is now get into the backend of the playoffs. Look at the ‘big 3’ this year in the championship, we should be able to put together a squad at least similar to Sheffield United, they ended up a good 24(26 without the deduction) inside the playoffs. Not worried to the extreme by the deduction more by a potential embargo and forced sales -
Leicester to appoint Martyn Glover as head of senior recruitment.
LCFCCKEANO replied to stu's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don’t hate him and we have made some very good signings last few years as well as some disgusting ones which I’m not entirely sure anyone could’ve got between due to the way we run. Having said that, I think it makes sense to gut everything including management, recruitment and the directors and start clean. Will never happen, Rudkin/Top will be here until we fold, viva FC City of Leicester -

Our problem wasn’t trying to compete but how we went about it. We could’ve had Eze/Bowen along with Lookman for the Perez money. Could’ve had Wharton and spare change for Soumare. I know hindsight makes it seem easy but at the time they were the highest rated championship players, and Maddison’s deal should’ve shown us the way to go. We could’ve be competing but we got in our own way, and now my least favourite part of the day is hearing news about Leicester. Much as we’d all prefer to be established in the prem, I’d take going back to early 2010’s championship us in exchange for not having this shite consistently crammed down our throats. After Chansiri we have the worst ownership in England, I’d even take the Venkys over our mess -

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but if we are forced to sell it will mainly be BEK/Nelson/Monga/anyone who is wanted who can produce a good profit for the books. -
In a 343 could see him being a very good rwb, has the legs and size to cover the ground and not be pushed about, and him overlapping Fatawu would be a fun combo

Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance
LCFCCKEANO replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Was going to say the same thing, what a truly good bloke big Nige is, he deserves the part of the credit he gets for the miracle season. He should never come back because his legend(and shakeys) will last forever, if that makes sense, long live -
Dead right tbh, for me it is simply who can make the step up, feels pointless having players who can do it at a higher level in the championship who struggle in the prem, if we want to be re-established Skipp could be a squad options ply for his size and he physicality, I do not believe Winks could, I’d rather sell for what we bought and bring in larger or more technical players in his place. Next season has to be purely about building a squad that can deal with the prem
