Think you aren’t necessarily wrong with this, my issue is as a holding midfielder if you can’t contribute defensively really, which Winks does really struggle with, you have to be able to contribute with more than just playing neat football in the prem, Have to either be just unbelievable with the ball or be a good defensive player and Winks is neither. It is rewriting history to say he wasn’t good for us in the Championship but think I’d rather we go up with midfielders who can at least hold their own defensively in the Prem. Think for all their flaws Skipp/Ndidi aren’t awfully bad defensively, think it’s why since they’ve been starting we have looked more secure at the back

For me the only things exciting me enough to go back are Nelson and Fatawu, if they sell either genuinely gonna sack it off and use my season ticket money on a holiday instead, bored of this club now

He defends like he’s worried about making mistakes which makes sense in our shower, scared to get tight in case he gets beat. If he can go somewhere where he can feel safe in the knowledge that if he gets beat he’s not relying on Disco Stu and the slowest human alive to cover him he might be decent

Let him go keep Skipp see what happens with Soumare and Ndidi and sign another couple of cms/cdms. No real place in the modern prem for 5’10 slow weak players who ‘dictate play’. Too easily bullied, same as Cullen at Burnley under Kompany

If he breaks Faes in training think he’s been well worth the transfer fee, let’s wait and see

He should’ve took a move 3/4/5 years ago, very clearly a level beyond what we have in so many ways, if he was at a big club he’d be gearing down and prepping for his summer free transfer to Italy to play out his career in paradise, instead he’s on filbo lane playing next to Wout Faes, poor bloke

Surely makes sense to get it done when attendance is the lowest it has been a while, gives scope for a reduction in possible attendance, and if we do well and when people flood back, creates a demand for tickets which would probably then lead to an increase in sales when availability does return

If we can, Monga as backup to Fatawu and Evans for Mavididi in the championship, with BEK and Alves in the mixer, should be more than enough to go up and have some hope for the future too

Sorry but the squad could be league 2 standar, 12+ hours with no goal is beyond bad. Imagine lower league Leicester had 10+ cup games against various prem teams, we don’t just not score a single goal. Losing is in a way understandable with our muck, having 2.8xg with 21 goals shipped and none scored in 12 hours is genuinely impressive

Sack him now, put Dave from the kop in charge to the end of the season on a free pie and a pint per game wage, be the same results

Think we would probably be best served going abroad/a big teams coaching staff like Enzo, best in the championship (Rohl/Corberan) are not options. Just make sure it’s based on their style not beating our shite twice in a row, which I think a toddler with some crayons and a sheet of paper could manage tactically this season

I think BEK sticks around similar to Gnonto/Summerville at Leeds. Think Coady is gone, Vestegaard if there is a bid will go, Ndidi will leave, certain his new contract had a relegation release clause that is reasonably low, think Mads may go if Chelsea/Man City choose to go for him as he would suit their styles. Soumare potentially but won’t be loaned out because of his contract, think the rest will be tougher to shift, at least we don’t have the extreme wages across the squad like we did last time we came down
