  1. What’s particularly bad was Obama and Biden promising NATO for Ukraine without actually doing anything to action it. False promises and shockingly now sold down the river. There’s gonna be a lot of Ukrainians who grow to hate the west.
  2. Liverpool did not deserve that at all
  3. That is pathetic by Garner, send him off.
  4. What’s the record for not conceding a league goal? It’s approaching 10 games now
  5. Sam Hain was pretty explicitly told he won’t be playing for England due to what happened in the hundred last year, despite his overall one day record
  6. Today has been truly awful for Ukraine. A terrible missile attack on Kyiv this morning followed by the US Secretary of Defense categorically ruling out then joining nato, Tulsi gabbard getting confirmed and now the final nail in the coffin with Trump and Putin’s collusion. The dying will likely soon stop in Ukraine but they have been sold down the river. Awful.
  7. The obvious answer is May 2016 because we were literally top of the tree.
  8. Compare Duckett and Shubman’s innings today. Both get off to good starts, Shubman plays the situation and gradually builds into the innings before accelerating. Duckett once again gets a good start and gets out playing a disgustingly poor shot, when he could just wait for the bad ball given his start. Banton will do the same soon. You can’t Bazball your way through 50 overs as lower order wickets are too important, these guys can’t bat out 20 overs for obvious reasons.
  9. Good luck guys! From the heart, this is our club, it’s time to get some responsibility back from the powers that be.
  10. Horrible feeling Forest are going to win the cup.
  11. Villa will surely fancy their chances but I could still see United jamming it again. They seem to play better this season when there’s a bit of pressure on it
  12. More opportunities to fly people in from Bangkok
  13. You could still call it the Hundred now as that’s what it’s known as.
  14. It makes you angry until you realise we do exactly the same to lower league teams. It’s a proper predator/prey type thing with the big 6 being the apex predator who can abide by their own legalities.
  15. I’m probably way off so I apologise in advance but I do wonder with Beckford, looking back, whether there was a hint of unconscious r-word against him in some quarters (not all). Not because he did underperform, but the idea that he met the lazy stereotype. I think the reality is that in the end he didn’t fit Pearson’s style of play which needed those quicker strikers feeding off of each other. Clearly a decent bloke and always has been.
  16. Going to end up a long way under what we need here I think.
  17. He does it all the time. His conversion rate from 50-100 must be awful
  18. If players want to be arseholes then so be it, not the refs fault.
  19. Schar injuring himself by throwing himself into the advertising boards then pretending to have been pulled 🤣🤣
  20. Position and press wise, Daka is an elite striker, aside from that he’s a donkey.
  21. How old was Panayioutu when he scored that thunderbolt at Leeds?
  22. Make sure that when they discharge you, they discharge you into a community mental health team, and don’t just do a 48 hour follow up and leave you be. If they don’t make that clear, keep pestering them until they do. That mental health team should have a psychologist too so therapy should be an option.
  23. Thank you for this explanation, it’s very clear! I wonder in a hypothetical scenario, say Reform win the next election (god forbid) on a state slashing, low tax, anti immigration manifesto, how would that co-incide with the Bank of England? If everything is based on outside influence, would that literally just lead to collapse?
  24. As someone not well versed in economics, how can it be that the Bank of England can essentially control the whole system over the government? If they cut interest rates, that has a knock on effect on ‘growth’ (nonsense social construct) which then impacts government policy. It seems a bit daft that we let banks and markets dictate our whole political system like this??!
  25. My bad, although he was basically saying the same thing.
