Having read some reactions today, it seems somewhat likely that it’s to strong arm Bin Salman to ‘normalise’ relations with Israel without meeting Saudi’s minimal expectations for this aka complete deoccupation of the West Bank and reparations in Gaza.

Didn’t realise Leeds had a higher wage bill than us last season and this season is more than ours last season. -
Do you count macros at part of calorie counting? Eating more protein, more fat and less carbs will help you lose weight a lot more efficiently if that makes sense. Not quite keto but keto-lite.

Well I guess there’s two things at play here. Currently there is a ceasefire in Gaza so technically he has achieved some level of peace and stopped people from dying (given most people have indicated it was his man Witkoff that brokered the deal). Your second point is also correct, and I highly highly doubt that he’s going to actually send the US military to Gaza to do this. So there’s very likely something else at play. I’ve seen some speculate that this is all a ruse to get Saudi Arabia to the table to normalise their relations with Israel, which would be a very Trump way of getting that to happen. Maybe I’m just in denial because the forced removal and ethnic cleansing of Gaza is too sickening to even consider.

This sounds familiar -
Antoine Dupont? Still would be better than Rudkin

I suppose blatant ethnic cleansing isn’t quite as bad as debatable genocide. The worst part is that all the slimeball politicians (probably Macron aside) in Europe will not call this out for what it is because they’re so scared of losing their pathetic trade deals with this monster. Even Netanyahu looked taken aback by the depravity of it all which is some achievement.

Their problem is that they’ve drawn 6 of their last 10 games 0-0 -

Burnley haven’t conceded a league goal for over 800 minutes, which is wild. -

Exactly, this isn’t the 80’s. When was the last time a manager resigned from a PL job? It just doesn’t happen these days -

Could you realistically see any of the teams being remotely competitive in the Prem? If both ourselves and a very well managed Ipswich side can’t do it, then none of the teams in this years championship will. The gulf is simply too large. -
In the above post, £130m worth of players left for free. We didn’t even get 10% of what we paid for them. They left for free. That’s why we’ve struggled around PSR, we broke our own system through incompetence. If we sold Tielemans for the £30m, look how much leeway that would’ve given us.

He looks like Owen jones

Why are Arsenal giving in the biggen? They’re going to win the same amount of trophies as Man City again this season.

Was out yesterday so only just seen the game. I thought Ireland were poor for the most part and need to seriously think about what to do with their aging team. They were too good for this England team but I can see them struggling next week at Murrayfield and certainly at home against a French team that won’t make the mistakes we did yesterday. As for England, we’re an average team, not terrible and will beat the poorer teams like Wales and Italy, but I don’t see us competing with the big boys anytime soon.

Branthwaite and Tarkowski are significantly better than our donkeys -
If they don’t sell in the summer they’ll simply fail PSR so it’ll be interesting to see what happens

Personnel wise that Everton side is absolutely rancid
