We wouldn’t ever do that unless we could stand on our two feet a bit more, and there’s not the political will to do that.

It’s very likely that the Sun has more dirt on him or we’re going to out him themselves, as I highly doubt he’d be giving an exclusive to the Sun otherwise. It increasingly looks like it was his ex partner who took all the videos and stitched him up after their relationship ended. So obviously he should’ve been sacked but he’s been properly stitched up. I feel bad for him.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread
Lionator replied to Happy Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
This Leeds team are much worse than the one from last season yet they’re going to seemingly march to the title. We have to stay up because the three coming up will be dead certs to go back down. -
Is it just me that thought oxlade chamberlain had retired?

Especially as that population are the most politically active too. You saw the uproar with the winter fuel payment, any decision which affects older generations will lead to the government tanking at the next election. Boris Johnson was the only one who has addressed however I don’t think letting Covid rip through the older population was ever that ethical.

Isn’t our age disparity one of our main problems? Like we’ve never had so many economically inactive people and those people obviously cost the state an unprecedented amount in pension and healthcare costs?

Spurs 1 - 2 LCFC (A) Full Time Thread
Lionator replied to OntarioFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The lads need to sit down, look at the table and think, we’re 17th despite being this bad for most of the season. If we can up our levels by even 10%, we can start to pick up and move away from the teams below. We have been so BAD in 75% of matches and yet we’re still 17th. -

The difference between BDCR and Mavididi was 1) work rate and 2) looking after the ball. -

Soumare an absolute man mountain, needs to be the first name on the team sheet if we have any hope of staying and with a returning Ndidi will give us some serious potential in midfield. -
I don’t think spurs qualify for that anymore
-
Soumare and Stolarczyk have been fantastic
-
We need Daka on now. This is the perfect time for him.
-
Great advantage from the ref for the assist!

Jakub bailing us out twice already
-
Hopefully not.

If what we end up with are the best deals, I dread to think what the starting positions are.

This very informed expert appears to suggest that if Trump-Putin talks fail to reach an agreement, Putin will likely invade NATO territory and declare WW3. We’re also doing a test of the nationwide alert system again. While it’s used for weather, it’s obvious that its true dark purpose will be as an air raid/missile warning system. These are very very dark times.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

There’s zero evidence to indicate anything would change if he left. -

It’s still a very good article though and the best I’ve read in terms of pinning the blame on the combination of weird player power dynamics, an incompetent board and the general issues. The club really should’ve given Enzo free rein to dictate the structure of the footballing side last season even if there was a risk he’d leave. But we didn’t because they’re paranoid. The one bit that made me laugh is the idea of “Rudkin’s desire for the best deal”. Absolutely ridiculous. Best deal for who? -
How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?
Lionator replied to Walshy5's topic in Leicester City Forum
I wouldn’t be so sure yet but I guess them dropping 5 points in their last 3 games has shown how faultless they’ll need to be to finish in the CL spots and you can see them having a bad run that would probably rule them out. -
If you travel long distances, how long before the game do you arrive? Do you make a day of it or is it literally a 2.30-4.55 job?
-
John Brooks is probably the best PL ref these days. Extremely typical that he’s a Leicester fan and can’t ref our games.
-
My god that goalkeeping.
-
Chances are they’ll be out of the top five by the time they play Ipswich on March 15th. Brighton, Fulham, Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City their next 5.
